Just purchased this mandolin about 3 weeks ago. I've played other mandolins in the stores but the A style just carries and carries into the next room. I needed one that would not break my pocket book but at the same time sound very good in recordings. It stayed in tune, played very smooth and filled the space on recording beautifully. I'm very impressed so much so that if ever needing another mandolin I'd have to go and play others to see why.
