Comments about SEYDEL Harmonica Tool set -Tuning:

First, items are NOT as pictured, except for the feeler gauges. Instead, they substituted a Beadsmith electric bead reamer BR213 and GEWA CMT-100 tuner (digital tuner is not a big deal but the other is!). Next, ZERO tuning directions are included. I did find generic instructions at the SEYDEL site later picturing yet another different tuning device and was able to use those directions. If this is what their standard is, then you could save a lot of money by getting the Beadsmith and other items elsewhere. I really think for the money Seydel could do better. The reamer does work for tuning although the stainless steel reeds don't tune easily, probably the softer brass ones would do better and you have to be careful not to ruin an instrument. I did email Seydel support about this with zero response, so that is why I waited to post this until now.
