Comments about Suzuki Promaster Hammond Harmonica:
This is my second promaster. The first was a low F key and this one is G. I find them to have excellent tone quality and are easy to bend notes on. For a backup instrument it produces great sound. Use it mostly in a Church band and I really do not have any negative comments regarding this harp.

THE BEST HARMONICA I'VE EVER PLAYED. I'M AN EXPERIENCED PLAYER WITH HOHNER AND LEE OSKAR. GREAT QUALITY, RICH ORCHESTRAL SOUNDS. YOU CAN USE SUZUKI HAMMOND ALSO FOR BLUES TUNES.

Comments about Suzuki Promaster Hammond Harmonica:
I have owned several harmonicas and this one has one of the nicest sound and feel that I have ever seen. The harmonica's comb is machined out of a solid piece of aluminum stock and the instrument reflects this, in its sound and how it plays and feels in your hands. This is a top grade musical instrument and well worth its price.
Comments about Suzuki Promaster Hammond Harmonica:
I've been playing the "C" Promaster Hammond for almost 1 year. This fine instrument is high quality. Sweet tone. Easy to get quiet to loud by blowing soft or hard. Easy bends. Heavy solid feeling in the hand. Only one I have that plays with even breath pressure from the lowest to highest notes. Other brands require low breath pressure on low notes and very high pressure on the highest note which means only loud high notes that will squeek if you don't play the correctly. This one doesn't squeek like that. Has great pitch and can be played quietly/softly when needed. Bends are easy and great melody and blues tone. Chords sound rich and full. Plastic comb means no more bad tasting wood and shelac flavor on my lips and togue that my 8 Hohnor Blues Harps leave behind. Yuk! Hohnor Blues Harps got me started a few years ago but are inferior to this in many ways. This one doesn't warp, swell or get soggy like the wood comb blues harps. The tone cleans up when played soft and gets a little dirty sounding when pushing it with a sweet melody tone right in the middle. I'm getting some Suzuki Bluesmasters for the oddball keys Ab, Gb and Db I don't have in my set. If they turn out good like the Promaster I'll likely replace all my Hohnors with Promasters for main keys and Bluesmasters for the not-so-common keys.
Smooth on the lips and tougue. No sharp edges. No wood comb and schelac flavor.
Solid. Heavy. Air tight. On pitch.
Reasonable price since it is not a toy but an instrument that has performed well for about 1 year. Will buy more keys for main keys I play.
Comments about Suzuki Promaster Hammond Harmonica:
There is a quality in look, feel, and sound. The notes seem to "linger" with minimal effort.
Comments about Suzuki Promaster Hammond Harmonica:
I a novice player who practices regulary with the Hohner Blues Harp and Hohner Marine Band Harp both in the key of "C". Both are top-quality instruments. It is difficult to compare them to the Suzuki Promaster but if you play tennis, I'd say the SuzukiPromaster is to Graphite racquets what the Marine Band and Blues Harp is to wood racquets. They have significant advantages and serious drawbacks that make choosing one over the other a matter of personal taste and what you want your music to sound like. Maybe it is the heavier, more solid feel of the Promaster and unbelievable control I have over the individual holes that make me feel that I sound better on it than I know I really am. I think I sound better, in the sense of hitting super clean notes and chords on the Promaster. Bending is a pleasure. In fact, everything from the heavy duty protective case to the finger groove in the coverplate and the comfortable lip guidelines embedded in the comb is designed for comfort and pleasure. Based on the quality of the Promaster I am now looking at the Fire Breather, though it is hard to imagine how Suzuki could improve upon what they have here in the Hammond.
