Comments about Traveler Guitar Ultra-Light Ukulele:

I have never bothered to write a review before and I have bought more than 20K in guitars and ukes from GC.

I currently have a very expensive Martin soprano and an aNueNue Oahu Koa III Tenor Ukulele. I bought this as a practice instrument for my office because it is relatively quiet. It has a great solid feel to it and even though it is the size and tone of a soprano, it has string spacing like a tenor. It is actually a joy to play. So much so that I bring it home on the weekends despite having the other two at many times the value.

On top of that... It is an awesome electric uke. I really get a kick out of playing it with guitar effects in a guitar amp.

Highly recommend even for beginning players.

As to the size, having struggled with holding a soprano uke, I find the lack of a head a fingering advantage over having a head in the way. I can't explain it, but it is easy to hold as well.

I really think this is a sleeper instrument. It is so much better than anyone would expect. I think a natural player would make people cry with this instrument.
