Comments about Mighty Mite MM2934 Stratocaster Replacement Neck with Rosewood Fingerboard and Large Headstock:

A solid licensed by Fender Strat neck, with good fit & finish. The end of the neck under the fretboard extension on the bass side had an uncarved area that the machine had missed, so that had to be finished; and the usual filing of the fret tangs/ends was necessary, but it now feels & looks great. It seems to be straight, and the truss rod moves, but the true test will be when it's mounted & strung up, so that would add another star to my rating if there's no problems there. A good value if you need the peghead shape.

Comments about Mighty Mite MM2934 Stratocaster Replacement Neck with Rosewood Fingerboard and Large Headstock:

For those who might be wondering if the Might Mite necks are any better than MIM necks, I just received one with Rosewood. The craftsmanship on my current Mexican neck way surpasses the Might Mite neck. I measured the truss rod opening on the new MM neck and it's 1/8" off center to one side. This MIM Fender neck has perfect lines, cleaner/smoother finish as well as more uniform wood grain. I really wish the MM neck was even comparable in quality. I guess have to return it as i'm not sure if it will keep the neck straight. See pics

Comments about Mighty Mite MM2934 Stratocaster Replacement Neck with Rosewood Fingerboard and Large Headstock:

I bought a lavender-colored Squier Affinity for modding that I liked the looks of. It's actually a great guitar, but the neck is too narrow. This had the slightly wider measurements I like. I had a luthier install it and some locking Fender tuners I bought. Surprisingly, you can probably pay for most of the installation cost by selling your old neck. The luthier took his straight edge to this new neck and scanned it for high frets, and declared the fret work to be as good of quality as that of Fender necks; no need for a fret level. It plays great!

This neck is amazing, Great quality fender lic neck, Mighty Mite plays better than my original strat neck , easy to set up if you need to adjust the truss rod make small turns and let the guitar set for awhile, and then check your feel again, takes awhile for the wood to shape into place, I would give it on a scale of 10 a 10, I own 2 of these necks there perfect flawess,

Comments about Mighty Mite MM2934 Stratocaster Replacement Neck with Rosewood Fingerboard and Large Headstock:

The Short Version: For well under $100.00, I got a strat-style neck that rivals any other neck I've played in nearly every way. Buy this neck!

The Long Version: My "frankenstrat" had a cheap neck that needed to be replaced. While I would have liked to go with a Warmoth or Allparts neck, I am on a budget. Enter Mighty Mite: my guitar has a MM pickup assembly with which I've been very happy, and, having read many positive comments about their necks- and a few negative ones- I took the plunge and ordered this one. I am very glad that I did so. It's constructed of nice wood; the rosewood board is a little bit stripey, and is a very close-grained and hard variety that seems more like ebony than any rosewood I've seen. The truss rod adjusts at the headstock, which I much prefer, especially considering the "lip" at the heel to accommodate the extra fret. This "lip", by the way, sits right on top of the pickguard, so that it hides any gap that might be present when installing a neck on a body from a different manufacturer. The nut is a greyish plastic, and is pre-slotted for VERY light-gauge strings. Expect to have to widen the slots if you use heavier strings, as I do; this is easily accomplished through careful use of sandpaper or an emery board. The medium frets are well-seated and not too sharp on the edges. The holes for the tuning gears allowed my Gotohs to drop right in. This neck fit right into the neck pocket of my Guitarfetish body with no modifications, and I'm sure that Fenders or Squiers would accept these necks equally well.

Some minor work will be required for installation. The holes for your neck bolts and string retainers need to be drilled, and a Dremel or similar tool works best for that purpose. The satin finish on this neck is fine as is, but some players may wish to spray a few coats of lacquer for a more familiar feel. If you wish to add some sort of headstock logo, you'll at least need to spray the headstock, but I left mine blank. Similarly, you may also wish to level the frets, but I found this unnecessary, as the neck plays fine for me, with no dead spots.

Once I finished installing this neck, the change in my guitar was dramatic: instead of being a chore, playing is now a joy. No truss rod adjustment was required! My guitar now has a new sound with a punchy attack that fits my style perfectly. The only (small) problem I have is that this new nut width of 1 11/16" causes the low E string to sit almost on the edge of the board- it's not unplayable, but some new saddles will probably be necessary- no big deal. Lastly, this neck features a big "CBS" style headstock that probably doesn't greatly effect sound, but certainly looks kool, and brings back memories of older guitars I've owned.

If you're in the market for a replacement neck for your Fender-type guitar, especially if you don't have a fortune to spend, you really need to consider one of these Mighty Mites.

              mighty mite rocks

Comments about Mighty Mite MM2934 Stratocaster Replacement Neck with Rosewood Fingerboard and Large Headstock:

I love the 70s look on my partscaster also love the mediam frets
I bought this for my first partscaster with very little experience. I knew ahead of time I wouldn't like the finish as I like a nice gloss polyurethane so I bought two spray cans of gloss put ten coats on it wet sanded with 220 and it came out awesome. I was skeptical about the medium frets as I like large ones but this thing actually feels great as good as anything I have had or better. I love the 70s headstock and 22 frets and yes I put one of those waterslide decals on it. My guitar friends are very impressed, one of them so much he talked me into letting him take it out on a gig with it now he thinks I can build guitars , LOL. I will be buying more mighty mite products because of the price and most importantly their quality. Thank you Musicians Friend for always providing great products at great prices. I have ordered from this company for years and have never had a problem with their service or gear. I only rated it an 8 because a 10 is for when you go to heaven cause you just died from excitement.
              feels and looks great

Comments about Mighty Mite MM2934 Stratocaster Replacement Neck with Rosewood Fingerboard and Large Headstock:

One reason I got this neck was the fact it has 22 frets. You don't realize how much you miss that one little fret until you need it. I suppose I could just bend the string a little more but I'm lazy. For the price this guitar is a steal.
This neck is a really good replacement. No fret buz and I had to do very little trus rod adjustment. I didn't replace anything on this neck as what I got was just fine for me.

Comments about Mighty Mite MM2934 Stratocaster Replacement Neck with Rosewood Fingerboard and Large Headstock:

I got this because the old neck on my import strat broke while I was trying to fix it so I ordered this and I'm more than impressed. It was a perfect fit and played perfectly, no fret buzz or anything, cyclovac nut and it's beautiful, much better than the pictures on here. I replaced the frets with Jumbo Stainless and put in a bone nut to make it even better and I have to say my favorite part is the big CBS headstock, I just love the way this thing looks and feels
