The Jazz III is a great sounding pick but the size made it uncomfortable for me to get a good grip on it but then again the small design of this pick is the whole point. It's made for speed and accuracy for fast players. I love the pick so I got the Jazz III XL series for better grip. It is essentially the same pick but only a bit bigger which gives it a different feel than the standard Jazz III although it is still way smaller in size than a standard pick. It just takes time for me to get used to it but I know I will get used to the Jazz III easily but the problem is that I know once I got used to this pick, I can't go back to using a standard sized pick anymore!

      Great size, thickness, and shape.
Never had one break or wear out.
Cheaper than the ones you can get out of the jug on the counter at music stores.

They Greatly reduce pick noise, and are wonderful for speedpicking. I've been using them since they came out, and never looked back. Red's easier to find when you drop em.

Comments about Dunlop Nylon Jazz III Guitar Pick:

Picks are subjective, and it would be tough for two guitarist to agree on which is best, but for me - these Jazz III picks simply rule the roost. Small and thick, they encourage my picking fingers to get up close and personal to the strings for improved attack and precision. Just try 'em, you might not agree but they're the best in my opinion.

Comments about Dunlop Nylon Jazz III Guitar Pick:

When I took guitar lessons several years ago, this was the only pick my instructor wanted me to use. I still don't like to use anything else when I play. These are sturdy and don't bend or flex when you're strumming, so you just hear the chords, not the sound of plastic scraping against the strings. Also I've found other picks to be too big and awkward, like trying to strum with a credit card. I have small hands, so these little gems are perfect for me.

Comments about Dunlop Nylon Jazz III Guitar Pick:

I am a beginner, but my guitar instructor is an excellent player who has been playing for many years and also uses the same picks. I tried "regular" sized picks first, but found this way easier to hold and it feels more natural. The only thing is the pick is very thick and hard. I think I prefer the sound of softer picks on the steel string acoustic, but I guess it is a matter of preference. For now I'm going with this pick because I like the natural way it feels in between my fingers.

While they are great, and seem to have improved my sound, holding onto them can be a bit tricky. Also, something to keep in mind is that you'll typically have to hold your whole hand slightly closer to the strings while playing; I can't speak for all users, but for me that means my fingernails will occasionally brush the strings. That's just more adjustment, however, so it's not a real problem.

I heard about these somewhere online or on YouTube, so decided to give 'em a try. The moment I hit the strings I knew these picks were for me. They're small and thick, not much give, so for strumming you might be more comfortable with something a bit slimmer, but for picking they are AWESOME. Precise and tight, I highly recommend the Jazz III!

with a slight modification, involving a pair of pliers and a utility knife,(to add some grip)i slice and dice on the back part of the pick and voila,.... the ultimate in grippage! I tried the carbon fiber max grip and didnt like it as well,,, their not as sharp and pointy as the regular jazz 3. After the slight modification i can really keep a hold on the pick whilst shredding to my hearts content. Also, as others have stated,, once you adjust to these picks,, standard picks feel very large and awkward. these picks are for shredding!, not for strumming soft slow chords.
