I have it for 5 years and it remains looking great and feeling great! As far as the color think of it as more of a faded darker grey with hints of blueish tones , very cool !! It fits really well with lighter colors and maple necks and even with red. I have an Ice blue metallic Strat and it looks as if it were made for it !! As far as function the wide end does not fit well over shallower strap buttons (like Fender's ) because of it's thickness (a small price to pay for comfort). I use schaller locking strap buttons and I agree with one reviewer that it may be difficult to fit at the wider end again because of thickness ! Not to worry clamp the 2 washers ( one front and one on the back, don't forget) over night , I used vise grips and you will be able to engage the threads with the nut which is really the main issue. Later on I was able to remove and reapply strap lock to adjust strap length without going thru that circus.Overall very comfortable, pliable soft leather , great width which is hard to find, great padding as well.I liked it so much that I bought a Chocolate Brown strap shortly thereafter same model , same brand ! That is also a great color which I do not see anymore advertised. I hope these comments to be helpful and prevent wasteful spending !

This strap has so many layers of leather at the top that it won't fit over a strap button. I purchased some Dunlop strap locks and those of you familiar with those know they will fit ALMOST any strap. Not this one. I took a razor blade to it to shave off some of the leather and finally got the lock to receive the locking c clip. Also as others have so aptly put, the color looks like cheap grey faux leather that someone ran through an oven to dry it out to crack it. But actually that's giving it way too much credit. I have over 40 different straps, and this one is the WORST.

I had a motorcycle accident last spring and my right shoulder and shoulder blade were severely broken which means im a whimp with anything on my right shoulder now lol. The strap is comfortable and sits just right on my shoulder so I can finish a full set durring practice or live with minimal discomfort. Good design.

Comments about Onori Distressed Leather Guitar Strap:

Like all of us I have several guitars and twice as many straps! Liked the sound of the distressed leather but was disappointed with the quality of the materials used, over-priced for what it is.

Comments about Onori Distressed Leather Guitar Strap:

I bought this because it was on sale and I just wanted to try something new. I already had a padded leather strap, but this one is soooo much softer. And, I love using it because I can smell the leather! I hope the smell never wears off. Makes even my LP Spl reasonably comfortable to wear for a while. On lighter guitars it's almost like not having anything hanging on your shoulder.

              Very nice strap

              By

              from Chicago, IL

Comments about Onori Distressed Leather Guitar Strap:

I bought this strap in brown to complement the bubinga flame in my Ibanez AG95 - it's great! Really comfortable, and made with nice quality leather. Much better, in my opinion, than those paper-thin "leather" straps you see in stores all too often.I honestly don't understand the other reviewers' dissatisfaction; clearly, they all bought the black version of this strap, expecting a pitch-black strap, but if you enlarge the picture you can clearly see that this is not what you are going to get. The product is not misrepresented at all. I am enjoying mine very much, and my guitar looks all the more striking for it!

Doesn't Look as Cool As The Picture

              By

              from Pittsburgh

Comments about Onori Distressed Leather Guitar Strap:

I got this strap because I wanted something cool to match the beautiful wood finish on my new guitar. It is comfy and made of soft real leather but the color is like a grey not dark like shown here. Maybe I'll try to color it somehow!

              Eeh, it's a strap

Comments about Onori Distressed Leather Guitar Strap:

It's comfy, not as cool looking as the picture here, mine is much lighter, almost a light grey really, but it's a comfortable enough strap.
