OVERVIEW

Beautifully voiced, professional guitars made from all-solid, seasoned tone wood.

All solid wood really does make a difference and Alvarez made sure their Masterworks guitars, including the MD75SCE, get the best out their solid wood construction. They are very open sounding, powerful instruments with rounded notes and plenty of bass. It is constructed from hand-selected, AA solid red cedar tops, and solid, cured rosewood back and side. Each component of the MD75SCE is made of natural material including real bone saddles and nuts, maple and rosewood binding and purfling, ebony bridge pins and green abalone inlays. The Masterworks MD75SCE features a one-piece mahogany neck with a 50/50 finish, and Grover tuners.

The Masterworks bracing system is forward-shifted with scalloped, hand-finished X braces that allow these guitars to project incredibly well. There' lots of sustain and response, and no matter if strummed or picked, the separation and balance across the strings is easily audible. Alvarez has worked hard to ensure that their Masterworks line is one of the most impressive and affordable all solid guitar lines available, so now as many players as possible can enjoy the benefits of an all-solid wood construction.

The MD75SCE Dreadnought delivers a stunning performance and suits any type of music or playing style. The solid rosewood body helps generate and dynamic, full tonal spectrum with great trebles and round bass. This model has a AA grade solid cedar top so it' very open and responsive. The œS stands for satin finish. This is a very natural looking piece and with an open pore finish to the back and sides, and a generous cutaway.

Comments about Alvarez Masterworks MD75SCE Dreadnought Acoustic:

I play for a living. I owned a Yairi in 1991. The electronics are much better now. That guitar wasn't solid wood like this one as well. One thing you don't see in the write ups is the body is deeper than normal. It is almost a half inch deeper than my 3 other guitars. Big sound. Great lows and highs. The pick up is very responsive to body slaps for those who like to loop rhythm tracks like me.
