It is truly a beautiful and the easiest playing guitar I have ever had my hands on. The slim line neck makes it so easy to fret and the sound is surperb. If you want a guitar that sounds and plays this good, not to mention the beauty of the inlay and the finish, this is the one you want.
I could only find one review on this guitar before I purchased it, but I bought it anyway. Great move. The guitar looks fantastic and plays better than its price tag would indicate. I was looking at much more expensive guitars until a fellow guitar player said you have to look at the Alvarez Masterworks. He knew what he was talking about. I couldn't be happier with this guitar. The neck plays easily and quickly and the "tree of life" inlay puts a classy look along with the Florentine cutaway. This is a must have guitar for someone wanting playability, great sound acoustically and plugged in, and a cool looking guitar.
BEAUTIFUL sound and look. Really easy to play. I picked up this guitar and it made me 10X better. It is very easy to play, comfortable and looks amazing. Have I mentioned that the inlays on the neck are jawdropping?
First of all, this guitar is totally gorgeous. Love, love, love the abalone inlay with the tree shapes in the neck. Nut and saddle are bone and the maple binding, sides and back are impeccable and beautiful. Total quality materials throughout.the only gripe about appearance is the standard black pickguard which was a total eye sore. Had it replaced with a clear one and now looks great.Built-in tuner is a nice touch and seems pretty accurate. Also sounds great plugged in.The sound is HUGE and warm and not too bright or too bassy. Very clear. Best for finger-picking and basic chords than barre chords or leads. Awesome, awesome sound, way better than Taylor and more upper-end guitars in my opinion. The only issues I have with this guitar are playability. Even after professional set up (action lowered, etc.), the guitar is difficult for me to finger and not a very smooth neck (not a fast guitar by any means). Also, the guitar is a boat, meaning the body is very large, especially for a small person like me. It dwarfs me and is not easy for me to handle on stage. Would be fine for a larger individual.Overall, an excellent guitar...I am sad to be getting rid of mine, solely for the size issue.
