A gorgeous 12 that's right at home in acoustic or electric situations.
The Alvares PJ85SC-12DVS is a 12-string acoustic-electric guitar with a stunning satin antique violin finish and System 600T MKII electronics. The PJ85SC-12DVS guitar offers outstanding playability and tone.
This jumbo 12-string guitar's elegantly appointed headstock is bound and features ultra-smooth tuners to get you in tune fast and keep you there for even the longest jam session. The abalone rosette is an outstanding contrast to the deep violinsStain solids spruce top.
Highly polished, perfectly dressed frets ensure maximum playability, even in the highest playing positions. The deep Venetian cutaway gives you access to even the highest frets. Alvarez's patented Direct-Coupled„¢ bridge ensures maximum transfer of string energy to the guitar's solid spruce top for superior tonal characteristics. The solids spruce top produces a warm tone with tremendous sustain and lots of headroom. Couple this with the beautiful rosewood back and sides and you get a 12-string guitar with great projection and balanced bass and highs.

This is a great guitar. The sound played acoustically is phenominal. All the strings are balanced well in both tone and volume. The action is right where you want it, and the intonation is dead on. The tuners hold the strings in tune well. Plugged in it sounds just as good. One may have to tweak around with the controls to get the sound, but it's there just play with it. Overall a great guitar, ad worth the money.
Played one recently when shopping for a good 12-string. Ease of playability and sound were exceptional for a guitar in this price range. Compared to higher end Taylors/Martins this is definitely worth the asking price.
