To start I got this guitar about 2 months ago. This guitar sounds so nice. It has a rich bright sound. Has nice bass, as well as bright highs. I put Alchemy string's on this, and Wow! I cannot believe the sound this guitar has, and it just keeps getting better. I have the natural gloss, and let me tell you, these pics dont do this guitar justice. This is a beautiful guitar. The on board tuner, is very very nice. but you wont ever use it. Since I have put the string's on, it has yet to be out of tune. I have never seen a guitar hold a tune so well. Sounds wonderful pluged in too. I have been playing for about 2 years. I have played Takamine's, Martins. side by side, this guitar is neck and neck with Martin. I know you wont be disapointed. Wow Alvarez. My next purchase will be a Alvarez 12 string.

bought this guitar after great reviews and a good sale price. thinking i got hthis 200n cheaper was a great idea. when it arrived with an action like a cello and rusty strings i didnt touch it for six months. got a guitar tech to set it up for me who was afraid to sort the truss rod in case it snapped was not what i wanted to hear. he hates it but has got it down to an ok guitar. not worth the monet . if id paid full cash price i would be really pissed off. just paid 700 for a scond hand Dean that is magic so im not scared to pay
I got this guitar in March of last year, and it sounds great. The quality is great for the price and it has a really nice acoustic sound. The only problem I have is with the electronics. Other than that, it is a good guitar, and I would recommend it to anyone. Just make sure you turn down the volume if you leave it alone while plugged up to a PA.
I first bought this guitar a few months ago and found out it was amazing. i was beond happy with it and thought that madey all guitars by alvarez we just as good i was right i recently bought a regent series 12 string and that soung just as good. do if your a seasoned vet or a newbie i think you'll enjoy this guitar
I've owned this guitar for two years and it still has the same sound as it did when I first bought it. This guitar is good for someone that want to advance in their skill.
I bought this guitar a couple weeks ago, and let me tell you, it's awesome. I have it in natural, so along with the mahogony neck and sides, it has a sleek, beautiful look. The specialized saddle, single cutaway, and included tuner make this guitar a great buy. This guitar has a great sound, plugged in or not. All in all, a great guitar, perfect for all styles and levels.
I am really impressed with this guitar. I don't foresee needing it set up for any reason. Plays and sounds amazing. For the money, and it being my first guitar I couldn't ask of for more. The on board tuner out-did my expectations. Quick and easy. This thing played great right out of the box. A+
I got this guitar because I wanted something to be able to use when I'm just messing around with my friends at home. I am a bass player and before I got this guitar, I only played guitar when I wanted a break from bass. I picked the Alvarez because it was relativley cheap, and it sounded great. Since I have gotten this guitar, I haven't found any other that sounds as good with the exception of a few Taylors. I would recommend this to anyone with a limited budget, all the way up to a semi-pro musician.
FYI...this is NOT a starter guitar. Not to say that a beginner shouldn't buy it - on the contrary. What I AM saying is that the seasoned player will enjoy this guitar. I compare it to my PD90, and must say playability is comparable, even tho' the PD cost $350 more. Really nice work, Alvarez
This is an awesome guitar. It has a very bright sound with impressive overtones for the money. The onboard tuner is EXTREEMLY handy for playing with alot of different tunings. Sounds great plugged in its no taylor but for the money it's a great buy.
I have been playing guitar for 9 years now, mostly electric. I picked this up as my first acoustic about 2 years ago. Its a great guitar, I've never had problems with anything besides a little fret buzzing. For the price it is a great guitar, I'm not going to say that it stands up to taylors and martins because that just isnt true. But to other guitars in its price range its the best. It blows my roomates Yamaha out of the water, there's just no comparison. Alvarez makes a great guitar and im looking to get another soon.
