Comments about Axl Marquee MJZ Electric Guitar:

Definately worth it.
The AXL MJZ is a fanastic guitar. I have been playing for about 8 years. I wanted something that was that Jaguar/Mustang style, and this was fine. I play more alternative stuff, so I put Dunlop Heavy Core's (11-50) on it and it sounded really good. The only thing I dont like about it, is the fact that its a bolt on neck instead of a neck through, but I got over it. The wood is good. The weight is good. The tone is good. The electronic are surprisingly exceptional. This is definately not a bad guitar for the money. Check it out.

Beware the product description is not correct

Comments about Axl Marquee MJZ Electric Guitar:

The Marquee MJZ electric guitar is not "Handbuilt in California" as the description states (unless California is a sweat shop in China and not an alder body either (basswood or agathis). I received it today and have already requested a pickup. Operator was very helpful when I had RGA issued, but MF (I'll let you assign a name to those initials) should be ashamed for printing out right mistruths on their site.

Comments about Axl Marquee MJZ Electric Guitar:

I was looking for something inexpensive to add something different to my practice sessions, and this guitar delivered. I use overdrive and distortion a lot, and I was really impressed with how this guitar held its tone and stayed quiet, even with the overdrive cranked up.

I also really like the playability of the neck, and the guitar just looks very sharp. For the price, you can't go wrong.

I find myself picking up this guitar for jamming over some of my other guitars that cost much more. It's a great deal that doesn't disappoint. I definitely recommend it for someone trying to find something different without breaking the bank.

Bought this one to play punk rock, have to say, for the price, I was pretty impressed. It had everything I was looking for for that raw, grunge sound.

Comments about Axl Marquee MJZ Electric Guitar:

I purchased this guitar for my band students to play. I was impressed with the pickups and tremolo. I was disappointed with the quality of neck. Neck has some dings by the heel and in a certain light you can't tell but it's pretty apparent to touch. Whoever inspects this guitar was obviously overworked or had to meet a quota. The binding on headstock is interesting. Seems like they ran out of binding and didn't finish bottom of headstock. Such a shame because the guitar does sound killer but needs better workmanship.

Comments about Axl Marquee MJZ Electric Guitar:

This guitar is ok. The pickups sound good but you can only get the intonation in the ballpark. The low E string bridge saddle ran out of room to be adjusted properly but does get close. The tremolo arm is cheap and barely threaded into bridge, broke off when removing. The guitar is ok if you want a guitar with soap bar style pickups for cheap. I am keeping it because it does sound ok but I am only going to use it when I want the soap bar sound.
