The B.C. Rich Classic Deluxe is Eagle Electric Guitar is truly both classic and deluxe. Classic neck-through construction with deluxe appointments. A quilt maple cap and full thick pearl inlays and binding create a strikingly unmistakable appearance while Rockfield SWV pickups, Grover Imperial tuners and a Tone-Pros bridge deliver equally striking sonic recognition! A white pearloid eagle in flight graces the ebony fretboard.

Neck-Through Construction
Neck-Through construction is used on the Classic Deluxe Eagle because it provides the best possible sustain, resonance, comfort and access to higher frets. Neck-through has long been considered the premium construction method for high-end guitars. This construction starts with a long piece (or pieces) of premium North American maple. That piece runs from the tip of the headstock to the strap button on the opposite end of the guitar. This means that the headstock, fingerboard, pickups and bridge all are mounted to this single sound foundation. Sonically it is a difference you can hear. The neck-through construction also allows deeper cutaways, providing comfort no bolt-on or set-neck could offer.

Rockfield Pickups — SWV
SWV Bridge Pickups
SWV is short for Select Wound Vintage. Everybody has them. Why? Because they kick butt! This is where some say it all started and came from. A changing of the guard, if you will, in the future engineering of guitars and guitar pickups. If it wasn't for the original Patent-Applied-For design, who knows where we all would be? With all that being said, this pickup rings true of that vintage tone with of course, a Rockfield twist. Specific people in the know were asked and shared herds of info about how the originals were made. That along with Rockfield's knowledge made for a great combination and a tonal blast from the past. A warm singing and smooth replication of classic Patent-Applied-For style tones that are clear and ring like church bells on Sunday afternoon.

SWV Neck Pickups

This pickup is perfect in the neck position of any guitar where there is a need to get warm, thick vintage Patent-Applied-For tone. This versatile neck position pickup takes from its vintage brethren a unique and bold tone that is smooth, warm and balanced from top to bottom. The Rockfield SWV neck position humbucker is sweet and full with great lows, mids and ringing highs.

Beveled Top
The Classic Deluxe Eagle Electric Guitar employs a beveled edge around the shape. In many ways, bevels on a top are similar to facets on a cut stone. They catch the light and reflect at different angles giving the instrument more of a three dimensional look.

Comments about B.C. Rich Classic Deluxe Eagle Electric Guitar:

Very good overall guitar. Only problem I had with mine was that you could see each connection from one piece of the mother of pearl body binding to the next and parts of it were a bit yellowish but other than that its flawless and beautiful.

Look no further

Comments about B.C. Rich Classic Deluxe Eagle Electric Guitar:

I'll be honest, before I acquired this guitar I thought that the newer BC Rich guitars were only appropriate for kids 14 and under. However, I saw this and noticed that the features are unparalleled at this or any price range (Neck thru, ebony board, etc.), so I decided to give it a try and it has since become my main guitar! The only modifications I made were to install a Dimarzio PAF Pro and X2N combo, which sounds killer. This guitar handles everything from gospel to metal with ease, the neck is super comfortable, and it is priced very reasonably. Highly recommended!!

Impressive axe!!

Comments about B.C. Rich Classic Deluxe Eagle Electric Guitar:

I have never played a BC Rich before. Always past them by in stores. Too metal looking for me. I own a Strat, Gibson Les Paul, A Heritage Semi, a Washburn Hollowbody, and a Taylor and Martin Acoustic. When I saw the looks of this unit I loved it. It was a blemished model on sale here and the added 15% off made it too good to be true. Can't tell why its blemished but the black is a beautiful guitar and its not just a metal monster. It can play anything and do it with a professional flare. People cannot get over its beauty and they love rockin' to its sound. I have since investigated the BC line and love the Bich. May have to add that one to my collection. You will love the variations of sounds that you can get with this guitar. It plays all from clean to monster crunches. Not big on the jazz but the Washburn and Heritage handle that for me.
