The JRV Lucky 8 is an affordable way to aquire a 8-string guitar from B.C. Rich without comprimising on features. It's made with a mahogany body that has beveled edges, a bolt-on maple neck and a 8-inline pointed headstock. The rosewood fretboard comes in a comfortable 12" radius with 24 jumbo frets for effortless note-bends. Onboard is a pair of Seymour Duncan pickups that are designed especially to capture all of the nuances and expanded range that 8 strings have to offer. Black hardware is used throughout the JRV Lucky 7 including the fixed bridge and die-cast tuners that complete the list of hard-rocking features.

Very well built, great craftsmanship and pro wiring.
For the price point; leagues ahead of the competitors and clear,crisp active Duncan designed pups.
Unsurprisingly, it sings with high gain.
Well rounded performance both live and in the studio, and doesn't have the bulky weight of most 8's due to the V shape.
On the other hand, sitting down with the thing can be difficult at times...
