I highly recommend this for any new player who likes classic metal or probably more hardcore stuff, though I can't really say too much about the hardcore stuff since I never go below E standard. I could see anybody buying this who wants to eventually progress further by possibly changing the pickups at some point, or switching to a higher end B.C. Rich or other brand.
    Feature pros:

Love the neck. Thinner neck, which is perfect for me, compared to something like a Mockingbird or a Les Paul, which have much thicker necks. Low action makes moving around the fretboard very easy.

    Feature cons:

The tone and volume knobs fail to impress. No matter what setting I have the pickup switch on, whether be lead or rhythm, there is absolutely no way turning the tone knob down makes it sound good.

The bridge is ridiculous. Changing strings requires me to either remove the bridge pickup and move it, or take off the saddle completely. Bad choice in bridge, B.C. Rich.
The body may look like an axe that Eugene wasn't careful with, but the pickups sound okay. It's kind of a love 'em or hate 'em situation with the BDSM pickups that come with the guitar. I like having a high mid and treble tone, with bass about halfway up, to get that classic rock feel, compared to that chunky sound the Mockingbird gives off, which I don't like quite as much, so these pickups are great to start with. I would strongly discourage getting this for a lot of clean jazz or ballad pieces, though, the pickups seem to have a slight distortion on the lower strings, especially when the pickup switch is set on rhythm.

Guitar's impractical to carry around, unless you've got a coffin case like me or something equally ridiculous. Body's heavy.
For what this guitar offers, it is a great price.

Well I can see if your a little kid that is just crazy for metal but if your a 16 year old teenage boy such as myself that has to play this guitar every day not to fun, The up side is the pick ups are pretty good I actually like them a lot for a the price guitar not bad, The down side is, I hate the feel off the body but the neck is just fine, But Im pretty picky when it comes to a feel in an Guitar, soo pretty good pick ups and a horrid feel also the graphics are just a wow for me every day. Age limit for this guitar probably age 5-14. Butt again the pick ups make up for the feel I say.

I've been an Extreme Guitarist for years now, I have played many guitars. This was my first brand name guitar my Dad got me for Christmas in 2008 as a Welcome Home from Iraq and I have to say that this is my favorite guitar and I have an Ibanez Jem Jr. as well.

    FOR THRASH METAL

    By JcAntwse

Comments about B.C. Rich Metal Master Warlock Electric Guitar:

This guitar is for Thrash Metal fans only, if you dont want to paml mute and chug away on pentatonic riffs, then dont buy it. It is designed for Thrash Metal. I use this guitar with a line 6 spider 4, with the right distortion this guitar sounds just like any 80's thrash. If you love thrash but cant afford much, this is your guitar.

    BC RICH

Comments about B.C. Rich Metal Master Warlock Electric Guitar:

I bought this used from a kid that couldnt play it. The only damage it had was cosmetic. So i'll get to the point. Ive had it for over a year now adn it is my primary guitar. I use it at gigs, for practice, recording. Its a nice guitar, the pick ups sound decent for the price and the action is fairly easy to set. Now i have had my problems. The volume and tone knobs come loose aometimes and need to be tightened and also the way it is wired doenst give enough slack for any saudering once youve done it after awhile. But i strongly belive that those are just things to expect after using it all the time. Its great for the value but nothing to groundbreaking. Its a good guitar if you need one for a gig or something shiny on the wall

    Good Guitar

    By Anonymous

Comments about B.C. Rich Metal Master Warlock Electric Guitar:

I've had this guitars for about 2-3 years now. It has been a great guitar but I don't play it much anymore. I used to play a bunch of metal/hardcore/grindcore and it was perfect for that style. I would recommend it because it holds tuning well and has a great sound for heavy distortion and that kind of sound for death metal. But I would not use it for much anything else other than a death metal sound. In summary, if you want it and have the money get it it's not a waste.

    BC RICH WARLOCKS

    By Sanchez

Comments about B.C. Rich Metal Master Warlock Electric Guitar:

Ok so I'm a real big fan of these types of guitars but in the past I have used my friend's other bc rich he owns this one and a jr.v BUT I really did not like this one it kind of dissapointed me because I expected so much more from it concidering I thought the jr.v was great and when my friend got this one I was kinda happy once he let it go and let me play it and wow...i was dissapointed I really think the pick ups on it suck my ibanez gets better palm mutes that it and thats an offencive thing to say in my point of view. honestly the jr. v is waaaaay better so if you want a bc rich save up for the jr. v not this and if your used to better heavier palm mutes and what not it would be better to save for the V this guitar isnt THAT bad I would concider buying it if I was a beginner but not as an advanced guitar as I am now.

    Freebie

Comments about B.C. Rich Metal Master Warlock Electric Guitar:

So I got this guitar for free, yeah be jealous, it was pretty banged up when I got it but up all in all not bad. The pick ups on this are decent enough for me and the guitar stays in tune for the most part. The things i don't like is the fretboard feels really rough to me, like i said since someone just gave me this guitar i'm not sure if it came from the factory like that or if that happened over time. Also i'm big on floyd's but that's just personal preferance. all in all not a bad guitar for someone who is just starting or needs a hack around guitar for when not playing a gig kinda how i use it. as always try before you buy though, unless it's free :D

    Great for the price

    By Ardrias

    from Dallas, Texas

Comments about B.C. Rich Metal Master Warlock Electric Guitar:

It has great pickups, but the sound could have a little more kick.It has a great feel, but if you buy it and dont like it, its your fault. Just look at the guitar, you should be able to tell if you'll like it. Thats the kind of guitar it is. Doesn't need all the tremolo crap along with, it would'nt fit the guitar. This has been my 7th guitar, and for the price, it's the 2nd best.

    Worst Guitar money can buy

    By Brandon -LV5Lg

    from nunya damn buisness

Comments about B.C. Rich Metal Master Warlock Electric Guitar:

Like sucky input jacks? Like when you barely put a guitar down and it chips? like rusty pickups? well this guitar is for you. There are MUCH better guitars you can get at this price. dont waste your money, the quality of bc rich is bad enough. Try jacksons. Dont get this guitar because it "looks cool", dont get this guitar at all.
