Over all this guitar is nice. the only reason this gets a 9/10 is because It took me getting use to. My old guitar had extra-jumbo frets. so its taking me getting use to the new frets, ALSO, The neck has is a bit big, like a les paul neck, so it does cause me to get a little tired, but for some reason it feels good on this guitar. So it works out in the end.
Overall, if ur looking for a good high end guitar, this guitars nice. If you want something brutal looking (weird shaped), yet have all the top notch equiptment, this guitars the one to go get!
This thing is fantastic, It comes with a nice mahogany build. The ebony fretboard looks just beautiful. And the whole pearl/white binding makes this thing scream! This is nice!
I think for the price its a steal. I play Brutal Death metal (Stuff like Gorgasm, Defeated Sanity, Disgorge, Condemned etc.) and i got this cause all the bands i like (the ones i listed) Used b.c. rich. And im glad i got it, it has a nice brutal sound. Sustain is amazing on this guitar, and the pick ups make great sound!!
For the price i cudnt ask for anything better!

this guitar is a MUST if u are a shredder!
When I was planning on buying a new guitar, I was torn between a B.C. Rich Warlock N.J. and a Schecter Hellraiser FR. Both guitars have 24 frets, both have active EMG 81,85 pickups and both have a Floyd Rose Original Tremolo but the B.C. Rich Warlock neck is better and it was completely affordable.
The tone is SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK!
a BANG FOR MY BUCKS

I was torn between this and the ESP EC-1000. Both had active EMGs, neck through, and mahogany body. But that's basically where the similarities end. The NJ Deluxe Warlock has a fast neck great for shredding and still has that killer shape that I've always sought after in my guitars. The Floyd Rose bridge, ebony fretboard, and the binding around the guitar also add to the killer looks. This is now my third B.C. Rich, and also my third Warlock. Overall I'm very impressed with this guitar and highly recommend it.

Holy Crap, the very first time i played this godly guitar i couldn't believe what i was hearing! The emg's are pitch perfection, what with there clean tone and there ability to go to full on metal, this is the perfect guitar. The contour fits my hand just right, and the neck is smooth and easy to play, and the floyde is just awsome, i love how the binding goes so well with the body and its shape, i plan on buying this just as soon as i get the money! And if you like metal this is your axe!

Amazing guitar. Build quality, finish, hardware, setup are all amazing. Others have said the binding quality is poor; I must have gotten lucky because mine is flawless. Sonically this guitar is simply amazing. Unplugged the notes ring clear and the volume is even across all the strings. No dead spots whatsoever. Plugged in it screams. Its been a long since I've played a guitar this good. I've been playing since 1987 and have owned nearly every brand of guitar since. This guitar holds its own against over priced les pauls and esp's with ease. Don't let the body shape fool you either, this guitar is good for all styles of music, not just cookie monster death metal. My only real complaint is the 2 volume controlls. I prefer one main volume for ease of use. However this is not a defect, just personal preferance and is easliy fixed with a soldering gun and 5 minutes worth of work. The 2nd volume pot hole would be a good spot for a boost or momentary cutoff switch to get that Tom Morello sound. Bottom line, if your in the market for a great sounding, awesome looking guitar and don't want to spend a truck load of money this is the ticket.

This guitar sounds fairly good but the quality of the guitar is horrible. The paint started chipping on all corners the first day I played it, and now the whole right spike has no paint on it what so ever. It is quite difficult to change strings also because the holes were completely filled with what seemed like plastic chips and flakes. I had to get a needle and a cotton swab to get all the junk out. It stays in tune very well and the neck comes with great action so I needn't change it. Great sound and very good for the price. Oh and the pickups are excellent. I replaced them with an EMG 81/60 combo and theres little, if any, difference! And I know how EMGs should sound. Great guitar.

I own two of the beautiful guitars. The EMG pickups make this mean machine sing like a demon chorus and if looks could kill B.C. Rich made one hell of a weapon. I simply love it. I wouldn't trade it for the world but I wouldn't mind one in a v.

I am in a Shock Metal band with a hint of thrash in it. I enjoyed playing this guitar at my local guitar shop. Though it looks killer and sounds good I didn't Enjoy the EMG pickups. I know that EMG is all the rage now but personally if you're going to go active look up Seymour Duncan Blackouts I really love those pickups. That's The only change I would Suggest other than that this guitar rules.

The EMG's make for perfect tone and bite. The neck thru desine makes for more sustainthan most can handle, and the origional Floyd Roseprovides the ability to yank the friggen stringsright of the guitar.
