B.C. Rich

Most faithful to the classic Bich 10-string.

B.C. Rich is proud to introduce a handcrafted inspired imported version of the 10-string—the Perfect 10 Bich 10-string guitar. These guitars feature B.C. Rich's neck-through design, and a solid mahogany body and contrasting wood stringers. In addition to their eye-catching appeal, these instruments are designed for function.

The Perfect Bich 10-string guitars have a comfortable 24-5/8" scale on the 24 jumbo fret ebony fingerboard, headstock and neck binding, string-through-body design, Tune-o-matic-style bridge and two Duncan-Designed HB-102 pickups. The Perfect 10 is the model most faithful to the classic Bich 10-strings players remember. Its controls include 2 volume knobs, a tone knob, a 3-way toggle, 5-way chickenhead tone filter, two coil-tap switches, and one reverse-phase mini-switch.

Years ago B.C. Rich introduced the 10-string guitar to the world. Revolutionary in that it had the typical 6-string headstock, but it had an additional four strings that terminated in reverse at the headstock and went to tuners on the end of the body. Due to its totally huge sound and construction, the B.C. Rich 10-string has been seen on rock stages adorning pros such as Slash and Joe Perry. However until now, these 10-string instruments were only offered as handcrafted B.C. Rich instruments.

Comments about B.C. Rich Perfect 10 Bich 10-String Electric Guitar:

I bought this because I needed a twelve string sound on a couple tunes. The American Rich Bich 10 was over my budget. But the Perfect 10 Import fit my needs pricewise.
I put a set of DR 46/10 "Tite-Fit" strings on it and 10 Grover Tuning Pegs. But I still Couldn't keep it from sounding 'muddy". I dropped down to 8 strings - still muddy. I finally just kept the head strings (6) and WOW! What sustain! It makes a superlative 6 six string. The built in neck is strong enough to support 10 strings and with only 6 it's so rock-solid it produces sustain better than anything else I've ever played. Plus when I just look at it I have to grin. It's a piece of ARTWORK. And still not too heavy.

The most beautiful guitar to ever hold the name of Bich

Comments about B.C. Rich Perfect 10 Bich 10-String Electric Guitar:

I'm amazed that this isn't a more popular guitar. I own the exotic Koa that had a limited run a few years ago. It is a thing of pure beauty. Moreover, I haven't been interested in buying an electric guitar for years, mainly because I have two Gibson guitars which satisfy all my needs. I bought this guitar first because it is something so different, but second, it is one of the nicest guitars I have ever played. The neck is a thing of pure beauty. Not to mention, the guitar itself is a work of art. It is seamless in construction and is close to perfection as I've ever seen. If you factor in the price you are paying, than nothing compares to this, it is a must buy if you're interesting in tackling 10 strings. I found I like the D & G strings the best, whereby it would almost be worth it to drop the B and E strings and turn it into an 8 string guitar. The shape of guitar too is something of a dream. When sitting, it supports your playing hand and is very comfortable. I highly, highly recommend it and thanks to BC rich for finally producing it again.

    Perfect 10, Bich

Comments about B.C. Rich Perfect 10 Bich 10-String Electric Guitar:

Perfect. Only a few minor flaws, the toggle switch between pick-ups is very touchy in the center position. Love all the controls, the sound, the style. The octave strings (D mostly) can sound somewhat out of place for power chords using E A and D, but most of the time it isn't noticeable. It can be a pain getting an octave G string, 3 half steps above the high e, I broke 2 strings trying to get it there impatiently, but now that it's there, it's lasted about 3 weeks so far. Wonderful for heavy rythm, soling however, can sound very sloppy. I love the guitar, but it's not one you would want as your only.

Comments about B.C. Rich Perfect 10 Bich 10-String Electric Guitar:

Excellent, fun playing, guitar. Reminds me of the originals (That's why I bought it). It is such a beautiful guitar as well as having the high quality fit and finish that you wouldn't expect at this price range. Very happy with the quality. This is just a fun guitar to play. I have 9 other guitars and I'm absolutely infatuated with this one. The pickups sound great for rock & blues. The 10 string sound is awesome. The knobs and switches are cool, just wish they had more (like the original). I's fun to play this guitar and then pick up a regular six string. It's weird how easy the six string plays (like it's missing something).

Comments about B.C. Rich Perfect 10 Bich 10-String Electric Guitar:

I have rated guitars before. I have never given all 10's before. But as the name implies, this guitar is a perfect 10.From the finish to the playability to the tone. This is a great guitar. Made in Korea. But will match up against any american made guitar that I have seen or heard. Great guitar for a great price.
