this is a good package for the price. The amp is not the best but it serves well for just playing around but whenever you can you might want to upgrade it. The guitar is perfect except that i have had it for a week and all ready have scratched the paint off of the body but its perfect other than that. The picks are too thin they are about .7 mm i think. The strap is a low-grade nylon strap it works but it will cut into yer neck if you dont have it right. The gig bag has no problems except the pocket isnt the best but it does the job. For a while the strings go out of tune easily but they get normal soon. The cable is a little short but it works. My parents are complaining about how loud i play already so headphones might be essential.

I bought the guitar two years ago, its been through hell ive dropped it rammed it into things and its taken a beating the headstock is damaged easily too easily in my opinion the paint chips way too easily the neck is smooth the knobs might come loose depending on how well you treat it the picks ups are decent also be careful with the screws they are worn very easily and if tinkered with too much they might get stuck.

Amazing

By Andy Ringdahl

from Campbell River, BC

I got this guitar last year, and not once have I ever had a single problem with it. The amp is okay, but not the best. Overall, I think this deserves a 5.

Great starter for aspiring rockers

By Davy

from Okc, OK

When I first saw this guitar I was amazed. this is the most evil guitar I have ever seen. The sustain is incredible. The amp is also impressive. The cord is a little cheap. The only thing is it should definately have a tremelo and its a little deep for my tastes. Overall an excellent guitar for the price.

Thrash Hard!!!!

By footing_king

from bay city ,mi

My parents just bought me this axe this weekend, it is my 5th guitar I currently own.I've been playing metal 15 plus years. This guitar plays and sounds great! It has a deeper sound to it, and the neck and action is fast. The volume knob was a little loose out of the box but I fixed it.For a 31 yr old headbanger it made me feel like a kid again opening this box! This style I always thought was cool but when I went to the music shop n played one it was like playing a tree! Too big. But jr here is perfect!Buy this one, how can the Hoffmans from DEICIDE be wrong?!!!!

Bargan Guitar

By Gene.

from AZ

Sounds great, just like it looks. Lite strumming produces a slight growling sound. Great sustain and very playable. Light enough to play for long periods, unlike Daddy Beast. Would be improved by adding wammie bar / Floyd Rose. FYI: Does not fit into a coffin case, to bad. It would make a good combo.

The cheap Beast

By Anonymous

from Undisclosed

I bought this guitar about a year ago and it's still holding up fine. Although the pick-ups and the tuners are quite low quality. All my buddy's guitars get way better tone and my beast comes slightly out of tune after some heavy jamming, but all in all not a bad guitar for the price.

Metal Maniac

By Metal Maniac-dIGQ7

This Guitar is Sick!!! I have had it for about two years and i have had no problems other than the chord kind of tweakin out on me. The amp that was in the package is not so great so you should try to upgrade to something louder and better.
