I just finished tuning the guitar, i plugged it in, and the sound is insanely great. The Rockfield pickups are hot, and the action on the guitar is great, and the floyd rose tremolo is smooth. It looks really good, the only thing it takes to make it look like it does in the picture is to put it in a brighter lit setting. But still, this is the best guitar I own out of a Squier By Fender Showmaster Rally HH and a epiphone SG special. Extreme quality for a decent price. GO GET IT!
I picked this guitar up b/c I believed it had alot to offer for the price (active pickups, floyd rose, etc). When I recieved it I was impressed with the sound. Its better that the average BC rich pickups but no match for emgs. The paint is very cool cause it changed color however its not as diverse as I thought. So far I have seen silver, purple, gold and green. The guitar is confotable to play but the strings are a tad high for my liking. Overall you can't beat the price and its a great guitar.
This is the Best of 9 guitars I own. Pickups are very good if not better than EMG's. I added a 4th spring on the tremelo, set the intonation and tightened up the tremolo bar and this never goes out of tune. The color changing bevels are cool. BC Rich all the way and the price is right too.
This guitar is far beyond standard. The active pickups sound very good. I'd compare them to EMG Actives, although I do not have extensive experience with EMG Pickups. The guitar itself has a tone that I personally like very much! One volume knob keeps the electronics real simple and it's not a constant worry if i'm recording or something. You know, the whole "Is my tone knob set to 3/8?" kind of thing. The Floyd Rose Special Series Bridge is very nice as well. It can fit my very heavy gauge strings, as can the nut. It holds tune very well! The neck is smooth and very nice feeling. The fretboard is extremely smooth, and the guitar plays like a dream. It gets pretty low action too! This is my primary guitar! I play tuned two steps down to C F A# D# G C and I use D'addario EXL158's. This guitar is amazing!
