    B.C. Rich

An unholy marriage of 2 devilish guitars.

The B.C. Rich Warbeast features a maple bolt-on neck; solid, string-through, beveled basswood body; Son of Beast style headstock; a pristine rosewood fretboard with no inlay; and 2 BDSM covered humbuckers.

What do you get when a ruthless Warlock picks a vile Beast to bear its spawn? A Warbeast of course! The twisted minds at B.C. Rich combined the ultra-in-your-face upper and lower horns from the Beast with the more comfortable rear of a Warlock - there's a joke in there somewhere... The Warbeast however, is not joking! Ripping the heads off of lesser axes - the Warbeast is on the prowl.

An affordable and aggressive electric guitar starts here! This BC Rich Warbeast delivers heaps of profoundly malevolent features that all entry-level axe slingers in training will hold in high regard.

    Bolt-on Construction
The Warbeast uses a classic Bolt-on construction. The maple neck is bolted on with 4 screws to the body. This construction offers some added flexibility in the instruments adjustment and provides the option to change the neck in the future.

    B.C. Rich BDSM Pickups
B.C. Rich designed their BDSM humbucking pickups to provide a solid sound and to be durable while delivering high output. BDSM stands for Broad Dynamic Sonically Matched. That simply means the pickup is designed to reproduce a wide range of frequencies accurately (broad dynamic). Then they are tested and matched in pairs (neck and bridge) by their inherent individual and signature tonal and output characteristics to give a solidly balanced tone (sonically matched).

    Beveled Top
The Warbeast guitar employs a beveled edge around the shape. In many ways, bevels on a top are similar to facets on a cut stone. They catch the light and reflect at different angles giving the instrument more of a three dimensional look.

I ordered this guitar, simply because I wanted to add a BC Rich to my collection. I definitely picked the right one. The price is right, and it's just a great guitar overall. The pickups sound amazing through my Marshall without any pedals. It has great thick clean tones and monstrously heavy distorted tones. The balance is a little off, with the headstock being a little too heavy, but i can deal with that because of the amazing looks and the great tone. GET THIS GUITAR

This is alright for a begginer. The neck is... teribble. The pickups are teribly muddy. Sure it looks "hardcore" but myself, I would NEVER buy this guitar.

I have owned this guitar for a year now. This guitar is okay for the price it the pickups sound terrible but the body is amazing. The neck is dents very very easy but is easy to play on. Overall i think this is an okay guitar but i should have got an ibanez or jackson.

Not a bad...but not worth more than the price.

Comments about B.C. Rich Warbeast Electric Guitar:

Had this guitar since christmas and so far ive only had a few problems with it. The volume knob came loose one day and its wobbly now. dont know how that happened. The tone knob is screwed now and wont stop turning and if i turn it too much the pickups stop picking up the sound. On the other hand, the bridge pickup is amazing, the neck is smooth, sustain isnt bad, and its a solid, tough guitar. The neck pickup is very muddy and i'm not satisfied...i suggest replacing the pickups quickly but it's not anything urgent. I'm replacing mine with DiMarzio D Activators. Depends on your music. Overall, this guitar can wail...after you equip it with a few accessories.

Great guitar I have owned since christmas. It has a nice rich tone and looks awesome. This may not seem like a great guitar because of how inexpensive it is, but you coulc sell it for 5 times as much and no one would complain.

Comments about B.C. Rich Warbeast Electric Guitar:

I bought a similar warbeast, the warbeast standard, same guitar just with a floyd and rockfield pickups and set neck w/ diamond inlays, and it is AWESOME. It plays excellent and the tone is AMAZING, it even sounds good through my crappy Eleca practice amp. it plays like a dream and looks cool to boot. I love this guitar its become my weapon of choice and I've only had it for two days.

    Nice cheap axe

    By JacksonShredHead

Comments about B.C. Rich Warbeast Electric Guitar:

This guitar is neither outstanding or bad, its just average. The pickups arent the greatest, but nice and punchy. I have an RR3 with SD and an RR24 with EMGs but these pikcups have a nice character, if you see what I mean? sustain isnt that great - its no active emg, but its still there. Balanced weight, you cant really sit down with it (unless you have it like a V) but if you wanna sit down playing you shouldn't own a BC Rich in the 1st place! I use this as my old school, DRI/Venom style guitar with its unique tone.

    Beast of an axe

Comments about B.C. Rich Warbeast Electric Guitar:

I ordered mine back in May, and just now got it in. Other than the fact I had to wait two months to get it, I love it... there are just a few things that I dont like, of course the factory strings suck, what would be my G string has odd fret buzz and the intonation is all messed up. but on a positive note, instead of having 22 frets mine actually had 24... they really need to update this crap. the pickups seem to be pretty good, although I want it to scream so I going to put a Dimarzio X2N in the thing. Overall a good guitar, not to heavy nor too thick.

    A great and affordable guitar

    By Garlak

Comments about B.C. Rich Warbeast Electric Guitar:

I baught this guitar about a year ago and it has'nt let me down yet. I have a knock off of a Fender Stratocaster, but I love metal so I wanted something with humbuckers. I was always interested in B.C.Rich and I was looking for a Warlock but this model caught my eye. Its geat for such a low cost guitar. The neck is realy thick and offers great access for a bolt on. And the scale is nice because you can drop tune without loosing much tension. (I had it in A standard with 10 gage strings one day!) Another thing that makes this guitar good for drop tunnig is that the Tune-O-Matic bridge offers easy intonation. The pick-ups offer a decent output for factory pick-ups. If you take good care of it, it wont let you down. The only thing I don't like about this guitar is that is's a lot thicker than a warlock, also the horns at the top of the body can stab you witch makes it a little uncomfortable. I recomend playing it like a V shaped guitar. (put your leg in the bottom cut out.) That puts the horns out of contact. I love this guitar and im planing on buying the ASM pro when it comes out! I realy recomend B.C.Rich if you like Metal, Hardcore, or any thing with a harsh sound.
