OVERVIEW

A full-featured guitar at a wicked price.

The B.C. Rich Warlock Electric Guitar has a maple, bolt-on neck; solid, beveled nato body; Widow style headstock; a rosewood fretboard with white pearloid dot lnlays and 24 jumbo frets; a tune-o-matic bridge; and 2 BDSM humbuckers.

Bolt-on Construction
The Warlock Electric Guitar uses a classic Bolt-on construction. The maple neck is bolted on with 4 screws to the body. This construction offers some added flexibility in the instruments adjustment and provides the option to change the neck in the future.

B.C. Rich BDSM Pickups
B.C. Rich designed their BDSM humbucking pickups to provide a solid sound and to be durable while delivering high output. BDSM stands for Broad Dynamic Sonically Matched. That simply means the pickup is designed to reproduce a wide range of frequencies accurately (broad dynamic). Then they are tested and matched in pairs (neck and bridge) by their inherent individual and signature tonal and output characteristics to give a solidly balanced tone (sonically matched).

Beveled Top
The Warlock Electric Guitar employs a beveled edge around the shape. In many ways, bevels on a top are similar to facets on a cut stone. They catch the light and reflect at different angles giving the instrument more of a three dimensional look.

Comments about B.C. Rich Warlock Electric Guitar:

I saw this guitar on sale one day, and I finally decided to pick it up. This guitar is awesome, I tuned it a half step down, and I loved it. The bridge is a pain to intonate, but you only have to do that once in a blue moon and its far easier than a Floyd Rose. When changing the strings, the little slot protectors on the back pop out, so try not to lose those. The headstock is nice for a look, but its difficult to restring if you are using a string winder because the string winder keeps hitting the edge of the headstock. Aside from difficulties restringing, the sound is great, action is great, neck has no issues, overall, its great for metal in both appearance and sound.

Comments about B.C. Rich Warlock Electric Guitar:

This guitar is worth more than the price I paid for. The action is great and has awsome pickups. Color is perfect red with black neck. B.C. Rich has always have the best body and sound for any type of music. I mainly play allot of thrash, death, speed metal and classical and blues lead solos. I recommend this guitar for someone who is gonna keep this guitar and to treasure it for a collection and a must have.

Comments about B.C. Rich Warlock Electric Guitar:

I love this guitar, I played my guitar teachers in class a couple times. The only thing I didn't like about it was that it was really awkward to hold. You couldn't really sit, but if you want to play a concert standing up, by all means, get this beauty.

      Better than the Bronze

Comments about B.C. Rich Warlock Electric Guitar:

Cool guitar, Fair price, Exlusive Model, Brand Name, Arrived in flawless condition.
Good hardware, good fretwork, good finish, plays nicely, looks cool, costs less than its worth. The coolest thing for me is that this guitar can not be found anywhere else then Musicains Friend, and while everybody else with a cheap Warlock is stuck with the same black Bronze model with the horrible headstock and the non-authentic warlock body shape, those of us who shop smart get an awesome shiny red one with the widow head and the true-to-form warlock body, for the same price! Muah-wha-hah hah hah hah!!!!!!
The quality of this thing is too good to be true. I used to own an 80s American Warlock, NJ series, and it was awesome. But this cheap, chinese factory BC is actually better than than my old warlock! It plays better, looks better, and feels better. They made this thing to last, the hardware is awesome, the finish is great, and mine arrived without a scratch, not even a speck of dust on it. The wood on the neck of mine has some spots and some ugly grain, but thats to be expected of a cheap guitar. It does, however, still play and feel just as good as any other BC neck, I think the only difference is in the aesthetic value of the plank of wood they used. I see the same thing in the bodies of cheap Squires and Epi's with transparent finishes. The satin finish on the neck is very thin, and fast, feels almost like a sanded neck. The Nato body sounds much like mahogany, and its very heavy. That is good, because you dont want a guitar with a light body and a heavy neck, then you have to hold up the guitar by the neck as you play, whereas a heavy body guitar will rest on your strap and hold your neck up for you, to easly navigate around with your arm free to support your hand and not your neck.....I will say the pickups are not the best. They do what theyre supposed to do, which is re-create the entire sound spectrum with the BDSM thing. What you end up with is too much bass, too much mids, and too much highs, and a sound that is too complex and out of control to use. The whole BDSM thing would be great for clean sounds, or a bass pickup, but for distortion it just stinks. They are hot pickups though, and theyre not noisy. You can at least solo on them and play clean stuff. For gain I recommend buying a cheap humbucker for the bridge, they have quite a few for a low price. The wiring/soldering is not great, but not horrible either. Besides that, the quality of this thing is as high as can be, I would have easily paid twice the amount for it.
Great value, better hardare and features than most guitars in the price range. Much better than the Bronze warlock, for the same price.

      Awesome looks Incredible sounds

Comments about B.C. Rich Warlock Electric Guitar:

In a nutshell, best guitar I've owned yet. Sounds beautiful played fast or slow, with or without a preamp.
Tone and volume controls work perfectly, pickup switch works flawlessly. The body of the guitar is just shaped perfectly for sitting or standing it almost wraps around me...experienced players joke that you dont "play" the guitar you "make love to it" and this one seems to do that to me.
Well put together, strong, sturdy...nothing cheep about it.
      Outstanding value!!!

I'm not going to tell you it plays like my vintage Les Paul, but I'm shocked at the quality of this guitar for the price. I bought this for my son, and for just a couple hundred bones he now has a guitar that he could even gig with eventually.
