OVERVIEW

Wicked looks, fast action.

B.C. Rich is known for innovation in the guitar industry, so it stands to reason that their new Invisibolt Technology system does not use traditional neck-through, bolt-on or fixed-heel construction. Instead, the neck is bolted inside the body. I.T. is not only visually striking, it adds sustain and provides a very low profile neck heel for fleet fretboard action.

B.C. Rich BDSM Pickups
B.C. Rich designed their BDSM humbucking pickups to provide a solid sound and to be durable while delivering high output. BDSM stands for Broad Dynamic Sonically Matched. Which simply means that the pickup is designed to reproduce a wide range of frequencies accurately (broad dynamic). Then they are tested and matched in pairs (Neck and Bridge) by their inherent individual and signature tonal and output characteristics to give a solidly balanced tone (sonically matched).

Black Shadow - Beveled Top
The beveled edge around around the black shadow top is similar in many ways to facets on a cut stone. They catch the light and reflect at different angles giving the instrument more of a three dimensional look.

Satin Red - Flat Top
The satin fred flat top styling gives a bold and pristine look to the edge of the instrument's shape. Usually when the flat top feature is used, B.C. Rich adds a stripe of single or multi-ply binding around the edge in a complementary color. The binding on a flat top finishes off the edge cleanly and gives a sleek and clean look to the instrument.

I love B. C. Richs for one thing but I played this guitar yesterday and was not impressed...though it was used and had one Seymore Duncan bridge pickup, it was still not the sound I was hoping for from a Warlock, the chape is killer and its probably my favorite guitar besides the Kerry King B.C. Rich V, but this guitar left much to be desired. I think If I had found a better amp to play through this guitar may have shone its true colors. I recommend it but dont think it holds a candle to any ESP..especially a Viper with EMG 81 and 85 active p-up's! [the guitar I played after this one]

I've been playing guitar for years, and this is the guitar I started out on. I don't play metal, or anything close to it, but I used to love that stuff so I thought this thing would be a dream. Let me just say, it can't play anything but metal, and it doesn't even do a good job at that. The pickups are way too muddy, and only sound half way decent completely over driven. Oh and you can forget about playing anything clean, the pickups sound horrible. Now the rest of the guitar is pretty flimsy, it chips very easy and is a lot heavier than it's tone would imply. Knobs will break, the humbuckers will cave in, and the fretboard goes to crap no matter how well you maintain it. The only upside I can see is if you completely love the look, I used to but it did not compensate for such a bad instrument. Plus the look you will grow out of, it's too flashy and you look ridiculous playing anything other than metal with it. Use your money and buy an epiphone for the same price.

The B.C. Rich SE Warlock IT Electric Guitar is an amazing guitar. Your fingers can just fly on this beautiful guitar. I've play it at my friends house and couldn't stop playing it. Perfect for anything involving lots of blazing solos. The only thing missing is a whammy bar, but it isn't to important if you're good.

A METAL AXE

By Anonymous

from Undisclosed

If you can't sound good on this guitar you should think about switching to bass or piano!! Yeah it's meant for Metal although it's quite capable of doing jazz and blues, if it's not your style shut up and buy a STRAT!! oh yeah BC RICH makes Good Bridges and have the best necks for shred!

beautiful metal machine

The color of this thing is what got me. the flat black looks beautiful. There needs to be more pics on here. The back looks amazing. the neck is a mirror image, end to end, the widow headstock on the top is also inside the body. It looks stunning. I've played it right next to a les paul custom and this sustain outlasts the lp. The sound is great too. Dime rails are probably recommended, but I'm happy with these for now. Definitely a great investment.

Simply awesome.

I played this thing while it was in the local guitar shop nearly every time I walked in. From the time it got there to the time it was sold (approx. a year), this guitar has not faltered once. I helped sell it regretfully, but I will be buying this guitar myself as soon as possible. The only complaint is that it doesn't come with a tremolo thanks to the position the neck is in, but that shouldn't be too much of a problem unless you abuse the whammy for Dime-style solos.

This was my first guitar....

By Anonymous

from Undisclosed

My brothers friend got me this guitar when I was 12(It seemed cool then). But now that I have *real* guitars I see that this thing was just really a hallow piece of poo. Of course it was solely designed for heavy bassy metal but who wants to be confined to that. On the upside you have to admit that it looks totally wicked. Mine had what would appear to be a floyd rose but it turns out when BC made it they didn't have the license to the floyd rose so they built their own so when i needed parts for it no store had them =/Look, if you absolutely need this guitar atleast change out the BC rich pickups for something less muddy and wide sounding.

MIKENOVA

I'm not a great player by any means but I thought this was a really good guitar. I had a 79 strat and I thought the BC Rich was superior in every way. I thought the clean tone was good also. The neck played very well much better than the 79 strat.

Pretty Sweet Guitar

By b.c.lover

I got this about a week ago and i completely love it. Although it chips fairly easily, its sounds great and feels very comfortable to play sitting down. Its fairly affordable as well, so i would highly recommend this beauty to anyone whos into rock and metal.

Great Warlock!

By J Metal 666

OK....This is an awesome guitar for the price! It looks great and sounds really good....of course better pickups would make it even better (But most guitars, even some high-end ones, need better pickups). This thing is a metal machine. Plain and simple. If you like raw, loud, aggressive metal like I do, this Warlock will handle it easily. I own a strat, but dont play it know since buying this beast.

Awesome Guitar--Awesome Sound

I have Always been a fan of the B.C. Rich line, and when I found this particular Warlock at a cheaper price at my local music store, I knew that I had to try it out. From the first time I hooked it up to my Crate amp, I knew that this was a great guitar. Its edgy sound is rough, but carries a fine sound none the less. If you play rock or metal styles of music, this is a great match for you. Not only is the overall design catching, but it has a sound all its own. I highly recommend it.
