B.C. Rich construction and Rockfield's vintage humbucker sound.

The B.C. Rich Special X Mockingbird electric guitar features a deeply arched top made from maple. It is equipped with Rockfield SWV (Select Wound Vintage) pickups that provide a classic tone with an edge. The Special X Mockingbird has a neck-thru body design, 24-3/4" scale, and an ebony fingerboard. The body wood is nato, producing clear tone and strength through the instrument. The mahogany neck and ebony fretboard complement the clear sustain, and the Grover Super Rotomatic tuners keep the instrument in precise tuning from song to song. Rich headstock design, Special X truss rod cover, cloud white fretboard inlays, stained neck, chrome hardware, TonePros Tune-O-Matic bridge, TonePros stopbar tailpiece, 22 jumbo frets, chrome hardware, and a gloss finish that rounds out the package.

Comments about B.C. Rich Special X Mockingbird Electric Guitar:

More comfortable than any Gibson, super fast neck, great finish without spending 2 grand or more!
Nothing bad to say, LOVE this Axe. Solid construction, beautiful finish
Thhis my 16th guitar, and I use them all. Most of my axes are Gibson high end models. Bought a Mockingbird Masterpiece on a whim, love it as much as any Gibson. Wanted to get a neck Thru Mockingbird. Shocked how nice this axe is, plays right out of the box fantastic. Been playing 43 years, still playing heavy classic hair band rock in a band, Hammerdown. This rivals any Gibson I own and a quarter of the price my SG supreme cost. Don't hesitate to pick this guitar up, wellllll worth the money, super comfortable, sitting or standing, full neck access, sweet sustain.

Comments about B.C. Rich Special X Mockingbird Electric Guitar:

this guitar is a really really nice guitar and i am surprised it is only 600 i payed 840 for the ghost black version but that was a special version(something to do with the finish) they don't offer the ghost black(see-threw black) anymore which is a bummer because its beautiful. but this guitar has surpassed my needs in a guitar. two things i hate are the pickups but for stock pickups they will due..i just swapped mine out for Emg 81/85 but the only thing i didn't like about them was that they were a little too bassy for me but if you like it then you are fine. and the 3-way toggle switch i wish it was 5-way but when you play metal and all you need is a decent clean and good tone then you are set. you will not be disappointed in this guitar metal head or not. i have a Ibanez Rga121(i think) it runs about 800 but once i seen this i played it and its even better than my Ibanez. well i hope this helped bye.
