Comments about B.C. Rich Stealth Pro Marc Rizzo 7-String Electric Guitar:

Overall, it hangs slightly neck heavy so know this. If you dont like pointy guitars or play mostly at home, get a comfortable shape. This has great features for a great price. I prefer it over esp, schecter and ibanez. Neck through rules, bolt on and set necks can get bent, physically and literally imho.
Original fr, Neck through, great fret job. single voume and switch. emg 81/85 for 7 strings. These are the features that I require aside from a tremel-no. Reverse headstock...i swear it adds tone and sustain to the low b.
8 out of 10 all the way. for the price and the features its outstanding. the paint is fairly fragile but i still have no chips or dings a year and a half later.
I payed a lot more than you can get one now for so, GO FOR IT.

Comments about B.C. Rich Stealth Pro Marc Rizzo 7-String Electric Guitar:

This guitar is mind blowing in most respects. I have owned this for several months now and since I have aquired a good feel for it, I decided to give an honest review. I know there are a lot of radical body styles out there but this has long been one of my favorites. It was co-designed by Rick Derringer around early '80s if my memory doesn't fail me. Very much a star body with rounded points and a curvy body, I have wanted one since I first noticed them way back. As for seven string axes this one has a wider neck than most others. I found I prefer the wider feel even though I don't have real big hands. It just feels like a serious shred machine not for the weak. And I am not poking fun at anyone but I do mean you will probably have some difficulty playing this guitar if you are not an avid player who keeps your fret hand well excersized. It definitely does not feel like a toy. With the wider spacing especially at the bridge and a very flat radius this guitar is a shred monster. Once I got my hands on this and adjusted to the feel I simply got rid of my other seven string as I figured I would never play it again. Another thing mentined by another review was something about the reverse headstock adding to the tone and sustain of the B string. In cases where ther is no string lock I could understand that point because longer string length equals more tension, but with all the strings locked at the same point on the nut, I believe it negates that quality. Of course who's to say that person didn't eliminate the string lock which would give him a valid argument. All that aside if I were to rate this guitar a 10 it would need a tone control. I can live without it because I have an arsenal of pedals to alter my tone as needed but a tone control is nice for tweaking on the fly. Also I plan on adding a machined brass sustain block. The one that comes with the guitar is cast metal and I was a bit disappointed that the so called original Floyd Rose would not come with a better sustain block.
I have wanted a B. C. Rich Stealth for a long time. The recent addition of a seven string made it the one to go to for me. On top of that the original Floyd Rose made it un avoidable when wrapped up with a nice price tag. I wanted to give it a 10 in this catagory but a few short comings earned it less. In fact I almost was tempted to give it an 8 but the positives keep it a solid 9. As one review stated, it is a bit neck heavy but not as bad as some guitars I have played. I found that using a medium wide leather strap with a coarse (suede) back side is about all that is required to keep the neck from dropping. Forget about using the poly/nylon type straps. Possibly moving the strap buttons might cure the problem but I can't get myself to drill any new holes in it any time soon. I also want to add that the finish appears to be thin as you can see traces of the body wood grain when held up to the light. This could be a plus if you own it for a long time and like the road worn look as years of playing should begin to give through the finish (my opinion). It is still very glossy and I feel that the very slight grain showing through adds character but some players might not like this. In general I will view this as a con due to the fact that I have owned far cheaper guitars with much thicker finishes. I would not want to try to rub out any scratches for fear of rubbing through the finish. Ok now that I have bashed the paint job I have to tell you about the neck. To me the neck is the most important aspect of any guitar and this one is the reason I love this guitar. Simply put, it is AWSOME! The finish on the neck and even the body sides look much thicker than the body top and back. The fret job is beautifly smooth on the edges and frets were polished to mirror like perfection. The neck is wide of corse, as it is a seven string, but it is also a good bit wider than an Ibanez seven string which I owned.

Pros:Active EMG PupsOriginal (seven string design) FloydAwsome reverse headstock!Bound 24 fret ebony finger boardDiamond fret position markersNeck through constructionCons:Slightly neck heavyThin looking finish (wood grain showing through)
Quality is a 9 as per the features and overall ratings mention.
Despite a 9 rating in all other catagories I have to go with a 10 in value because it is simply the best I could find at less than $1000.

Comments about B.C. Rich Stealth Pro Marc Rizzo 7-String Electric Guitar:

Excellent build-quality. High-end hardware. Very fast action. Quality Original Floyd Trem (not a knock-off). Stunning looks. Sounds thick and tight. Setup was okay off-the-wall, needed a little tweaking. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this guitar purchase.
