Bedell

A solid top guitar produced in the same workshop as Bedell performance instruments.

The Bedell Discovery BDDCE-18-M Dreadnaught Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar is perfect for those on a budget seeking a performance quality dreadnought guitar. It's ready to go wherever your music takes you, including the stage with its built-in Fishman Isys-T pickup/preamp.

The BDDCE-18-M has a solid sitka spruce top. This is the most popular wood for guitar tops today. Sitka spruce produces an even, clear response from low to high tones. Known to improve with age, a sitka-top guitar should make a great companion for your musical journey.

Bedell uses laminated mahogany for the back and sides. This works well for a dreadnought guitar with a sitka top to generate a strong bass with thick mid and treble tones.

For stage performance the BDDCE-18-M benefits from a Fishman Isys-T pickup/preamp system. The system features a single contour knob to dial in your tone. There's also a phase switch to help fight feedback and an onboard tuner.

Includes gig bag.

Comments about Bedell Discovery BDDCE-18-M Dreadnaught Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

This is my second time adding this review....seems someone had deleted it..
this guitar is a downer for me... feels good , easy to play but there is a annoying vibration when i play G chord.. buzzes in a strange place to where i cant seemed to locate it...there is like a material brace wrapped under neath.....i guess it has its uses...but in this case i think its causeing annoying vibrations... the spruce top is very thin and can be damage with you finger with light pressure...get a pickguard... its made in china but set up in USA... USA?,..and they let this pass..?? i be better off trusting the chinese set up...
so you can tell im not happy with this guitar.... many other brands cheaper better...

Comments about Bedell Discovery BDDCE-18-M Dreadnaught Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I bought this in Hawaii..has a nice tone , easy to play... problem is, the spruce top is very thin and can be damaged easily.. i would suggest to getting a pick guard... I looked thru this guitar and noticed their bracing system has a glued on fiber cloth for??? i guess to make more sustain?? Actually this guitar drives me nuts to figure out where this #G string vibration is coming from... it feels like its coming from the inside under the bridge... so i check wires..and didnt noticed anything that wild cause this... so i, figuring the glued cloth fiber causing the vibrations.... ? anyway.. i wouldnt buy this brand again,,, There is way better deals out there ...

Comments about Bedell Discovery BDDCE-18-M Dreadnaught Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

After playing this alongside the big brand names and their big prices, it was an easy choice for me. My Buds always say that it's all about the tone and the feel, and this luthier delivers on price too! I bought this as a gift for my daughter for her 16th b-day, but made the mistake of giving her a uke at the same time...I've played it with our worship band for about 6 months, and now I'm looking to purchase the BDMCE-18-M and expect to be as pleasantly surprised as we were with this model. You won't find a better guitar for the money...solid sitka top w/ Fishman electronics at this price? Too hot to handle! BTW - my daughter finally got the fever for this baby and loves it.
