OVERVIEW

The BG-60 has the vintage slope-shoulder sound and feel without the big price tag.

Crafted with a select solid spruce top, rosewood back and sides, and a traditional dovetail neck joint for pure tone. Traditional slope-shoulder construction with a 16" lower bout and 24-3/4" scale length. Exclusive diamonds-and-snowflakes pearl inlay motif delivers vintage vibe. The slim mahogany neck makes it a truly enjoyable guitar to play.

Blueridge BG-series guitars are made with the same techniques as their vintage American counterparts, including many by-hand processes. Like the best instruments, Blueridge guitars aren't overbuilt; they're crafted to be light and resonant. Meticulous attention to detail and quality craftsmanship are evident in the traditional hand-carved parabolic X-bracing that allows the solid Spruce top to ring loud and true. All Blueridge BG-series guitars feature a traditional dovetail neck joint, slim mahogany neck, adjustable truss rod, and vintage-style tuning machines, with an updated mechanism for modern precision and feel.

Comments about Blueridge BG-60 Contemporary Series Slope Shoulder Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

Bought my first Blueridge in March 2014. Saw Ralph Stanley II and other bluegrass pickers playing them so I thought I would try one. My wife and I play and sing 2 or 3 times per week. Since March I have left my Martin at home and played my Blueridge. It sounds better and plays better than my Martin DM, Gibson J45 and Alzarez Yairi. It's a great sounding guitar. I will buy Blueridge again.

Comments about Blueridge BG-60 Contemporary Series Slope Shoulder Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

This guitar is absolutely wonderful to play. I just bought it and I could not be happier. It rings beautifully and bright. This guitar is very close to some Martins and Gibsons i have played. I absolutely love it...

Comments about Blueridge BG-60 Contemporary Series Slope Shoulder Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

I play country solo. I put a Fishman Matrix Infinity pickup in it. Adjusted the string heights to my liking at the nut. Took off the pickguard with lighter fluid "carefully" This guitar is stunning. I've had over a dozen nice Martins. Blueridge gets my buck no questions asked.

Comments about Blueridge BG-60 Contemporary Series Slope Shoulder Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

Cant say enough about Blueridge guitars and quality. I got this to do country with. Great full balanced tone. Just enough boom on the bottom end. This guitar is drop dead beautiful. Great woody aroma when I opened the case. It was packed and wrapped with care from the factory. Compare some of the features to other big name makers like dovetail joint, snowflake inlays, bone nut and saddle and see what it costs. The only thing I will do is set the string heights at the nut to my personal specs. Now the search is on to find the right pickup that will preserve the tone and be loud enough with a band.

        Great Guitar

        By BIgJeans

        from Fort Worth Texas

Comments about Blueridge BG-60 Contemporary Series Slope Shoulder Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

I bought this guitar as a kick around instead of taking my Gibson J-45 to BBQ's and such. Now, i'm going to put a pickup in it and take it to the stage! Great tone and sustain. Very well built. I played about 50-75 guitars before I decided on this one, so trust me guys. You won't be dissapointed.

High quality without the high price.

Comments about Blueridge BG-60 Contemporary Series Slope Shoulder Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

For the money, you just can't do any better. Great tone, especially on the low end. Gorgeous to look at and darn near indestructible...or so my 18-month-old son has proven. I've been playing this one for two years now and haven't been let down yet.

Comments about Blueridge BG-60 Contemporary Series Slope Shoulder Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

This guitar for the price is Very high in quality and the sound is amazing. I would compare this guitar to another brand such as martin. If you want that deep tone with the high twang these blueridge guitars do it all. I only own martin but I will own a blueridge.
