Comments about Blueridge BR-140A Craftsman Series Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

This guitar sounds very much like the Martin D-18, at a fraction of the cost. It is a fine instrument built very well up to the smallest detail. I particularly like the wide strings spacing both at the nut and at the bridge, and the precious Adirondack spruce top, which is beautiful to look at and most importantly gives the guitar a deep warm tone.

Comments about Blueridge BR-140A Craftsman Series Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

I am an older guy that's housebound due to some recent health issues. Having played professionally for many years. I gave my son all my guitars, I miss not having them around, did some research and behold the blueridge 140a . After several weeks I cannot find anything negative, sound is awesome, and it's loud . I love it.

Blueridge BR-140A - great deal on pre-war sound

          By Mac

          from Richmond,Va.

Comments about Blueridge BR-140A Craftsman Series Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

I just got mine this afternoon, but it is all I hoped for. It has good tone, is very loud, and came ready to play ( shop adjusted ). The sound is so close to a $3000 guitar I played, and will only get better as it breaks in. It is hard to believe a guitar this good for this price. I would recommend this to any player wanting that loud, pre-war sound. The bass is full, and treble notes distinct. Chords ring and the whole guitar vibrates, notes are clear with long sustain.
Adirondack spruce used for the top has good tone and loud projection, straight grained mahogany back and sides are very pretty and also contribute to the great tone. Even comes with a good set of strings.
The whole guitar seems well made, inside is very clean, no excess glue or anything else. Finish well applied, frets crowned and trimmed nicely. The guitar is light in weight and very responsive.
Adirondack spruce, scalloped forward shifted braces, good mahogany back and sides all add up to a nice guitar for the money, less than a third the price of big name guitars.
