Comments about Blueridge BR-40 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

Guitar has very good sound and feel. It looks better than more expensive guitars. The head design is simple but attractive. I can't find a blemish in the wood, and I've been looking very hard for a flaw. Very good guitar for this price range and if you are not a professional.

    My standby!

    By Telesrme

Comments about Blueridge BR-40 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

This is my standby. When I absolutely have to get it right, I bring this axe. It's been a trusted friend for many decades. I haven't played one of the newer models but I would hope that the quality and workmanship have not changed a bit.
I've owned this flattop for 30+ years and it still performs well. No flaws anywhere on it other than what I've put on it with normal use. The tuners are excellent and are still performing well. The tone and timber are still as bright as the day I purchased it 30+ years ago. I've had to file the frets a couple times but that's normal.
I've played Taylors and Martin that I didn't like as well as this Blueridge.

    Great Guitar for the Money

    By karl christofferson

Comments about Blueridge BR-40 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

This model is good. good sound good looks.
Very Nice Glossy Finish, Real Clean work, Nice playable neck with waverly like tuners. Sounds good for just having a solid spruce top and laminated back and sides. Looks as good as a D18, although the fretboard needs to be cleaned. Your fingers get black from wood dust on the fingerboard. Clean the fingerboard with the proper cleaner and your all set. I'm Happy
One of the best coming out of China
This model is a good buy. Some of the others are pricey. They may not be worth it.

    NICE GUITAR FOR THE MONEY

    By Folk Muse

    from California

Comments about Blueridge BR-40 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

Over all for this price its good. The neck is assembled. Meaning made of a few pieces glued together. No big deal for the price. Martin and Taylor does it also. I find the tuners slip or something. I cant keep it in tune so am going to put Grover StaTites on it. The over all sound is very good.

    Great Guitar

Comments about Blueridge BR-40 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

This guitar has a solid wood top and laminate sides and back but the sounds is fabulous. I searched for months and looked in various cities and various music stores before I settled on the BR-40. The price for this guitar is amazing and it plays better than many of the guitars at a higher price range. I compared it with with models in the same price range from Ibanez,
Yamaha, Fender and Epiphone and most really didn't come close to comparing.

A close second for me was the Yamaha Folk model, but I prefer a darker sound so the Blueridge was the best choice.
For the price the quality is very good. Great X bracing.

    EXCELLENT QUALITY AND SOUND

Comments about Blueridge BR-40 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

I have owned several Martins. This is my third Blueridge. I seriously doubt you will find a better quality and sounding guitar for this price anywhere. The overall finish is absolute perfect. Take it out of the box tune it up and you wont put it down for hours. It is no way a cheap knock off. It is a first class instrument. And I am one picky acoustic collector.

    Blueridge BR-40 Dreadnaught

    By Anonymous

    from Undisclosed

Comments about Blueridge BR-40 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

I have owned this guitar since the summer of 2010. I have had plenty of time to play it and get to know it. I think this guitar is fantastic, and you get A LOT for the price. I have spent a good deal of time playing high-end guitars such as Gibson, Martin and Taylor guitars, and I find that while this may not quite match the sound of them, it comes very close (in my opinion.) You get a very full and rich sound out of it, the highs are as brilliant as the lows are rich and deep with a balanced mid-range as well. I have no issues with buzzing nor dead notes on my guitar. For the price it is worth it, if you have the money for this but not a Martin, Gibson, etc, I say go for it. You'll love the sound, guaranteed.
