Comments about Blueridge BR-60 Contemporary Series Dreadnaught Acoustic Guitar:
Shopped for a guitar for about 8 months. I played everything I could get my hands on. From inexpensive to extremely expensive and every make and model in between. I finally settled on a BR-60. The sound quality, playability, and build quality were comparible to other high end guitars. All that along with the price, this is the best value on the market.
Pros
- Decent sound
Cons
- Poor quality

I must have got a bad one. It had four issues: 1. Fret buzz, especially on the high E from the 5th fret to the 13the fret. It buzzed everywhere, but mostly on the high E. 2. The bridge pins didn't fit. They just dropped in loosely and stayed loose. They wouldn't hold the strings in properly. I think the holes were drilled and beveled too big. 3. There were file nicks in the edge of the fretboard from careless filing. 4. It didn't hold tuning too well. Had to fiddle with the tuning all the time. I sent it back for a refund. It didn't sound too bad but the quality issues were more than I could deal with. Get what ya pay for I guess.

just a real, real solid guitar made for any low income guitarist
you dont even need a features secion on this guitar. its just a straight forward acoustic.
for its price, great quality. i was worried about the wood i was going to get from buying it sight unseen, but the wood i got is even more beautiful than in the pictures!!
Fantastic value!!! no other guitar in the price range even comes close to this

Really noticed the quality of sound from this guitar out of the box. Tuned it up and it was ready to go. Sound to me is very comparable to much higher priced guitars. I just really love the guitar.....can't believe I waited so long to get it.
All features on the Blueridge BR-60 guitar are above average in my book. No complaints at all.
Great looking and more importantly a great sounding guitar. Out of the box this guitar sounded really good. In my mind there is not a better looking or sounding guitar in its price range. I did a good bit of homework prior to purchasing the Blueridge BR-60 and believe I have made the right choice.
Extremely reasonable for the quality of guitar I got.

I bought this guitar as "fallback" guitar. Thought I might spare my Martin and Alvarez Yari a little longer if purchased this one. The tone and overall big sound of this guitar quickly won me over. It's now my "go-to" guitar. Even in the studio, this is my choice. I have put this guitar up against $2500 guitars, and it holds it ground with no trouble. I have since played several Blueidge guitars. I can honestly say I haven't a one I didn't like. Clear on the top end and big bottom on the low end. Each one played nicely right out of the box. Well worth trying out!!!
