A tribute to the legendary Lonesome Pine Fiddlers.
A true pioneering force of early bluegrass music, the Lonesome Pine Fiddlers were responsible for shaping the early sounds of old-time string, bluegrass, and country music as well as inspiring the careers of other great players like Bobby Osborne, Jimmy and Paul Williams, and current Blueridge guitar endorser, Melvin Goins. To commemorate the 70th Anniversary of this legendary band, Saga Musical Instruments and the Cline Family have commissioned the Lonesome Pine Fiddlers 70th Anniversary Acoustic Guitar. Like the band, this dreadnought acoustic guitar also represents a 70-year history with design elements from the same year the band began its musical journey.

This is a great guitar! I had my eye on it for about a month and decided to break down. I play bluegrass and believe me this guitar is MADE for this type of music. The low end strings have a tremendous low end sound that compliments perfectly to it's high end strings (FYI I use D'Addario EJ17 Phosphor Bronze Medium strings). The mid ranges come out great for those quick bluegrass fills. The smaller neck helped me out getting those fills in and taking a quick lead. All in all - I honestly may get another!!
