OVERVIEW

Built with the performer in mind with cutaway and L.R. Baggs electronics.

For the performing artist seeking full sound with pronounced bass and midrange projection, the Stage Dreadnought is built on the original Breedlove rounded dreadnought shape with all solid tonewoods. The Indian rosewood back and sides are paired with a Sitka spruce top to provide a distinct full-bodied voice sound with pronounced bass and midrange projection. The electronics let you control your sound and translate the nuances of your playing to your audience, and the Breedlove semi-gloss neck allows for hours of comfortable play so you can focus on your performance.

Comments about Breedlove 2015 Sitka Spruce Top Stage Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I won this guitar on Jamplay and it came through Musician's Friend. I had never heard of Breedlove although the shop/factory is in Bend, Or and I live in Portland. I've been out of the music scene for a number of years with career and family so basically out of touch. I have a Martin Shenandoah that I purchased in 1985(?) and am now selling to a friend. I thought it was great with great sound. The Breedlove blew out of the water (or out of my studio). This guitar is absolutely gorgeous, flawless and the easiest acoustic I've ever played. Although made in Korea, it is "fine tuned" and set up at the Breedlove shop in Bend before shipping. I'm telling you the thing is perfect. No kidding. The sound is huge, the tone is warm and full on the bottom and bright and brassy on the top. If you are looking for a concert hall, professional instrument at a beer budget price, this is it. No question. I wouldn't trade mine for anything out there. The quality and workmanship is superb.

Comments about Breedlove 2015 Sitka Spruce Top Stage Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

Was considering a Taylor 600 or 800 series (I play a Taylor 214 and have played a 400 series as well). Breedlove came as a recommendation worthy of trying at less cost. This instrument has a wonderful, full sound and a very comfortable neck. The guitar was set up perfectly right out of the box. The case was perfect as well. No problems with the electronics. Sounds great plugged in as well as when recording. I do not regret this purchase whatsoever. Comparing this to a Taylor 400 or 600 series, I would say it is doing exactly what I would expect a 400 or 600 to deliver. Hopefully this guitar will age as well as others. But at this young age, it has exceeded my expectations.

Great Craftsmanship, Beautiful woods, Thin neck that is easy to play with nice action, wonderful full sound, I can't say enough good things about this guitar. It was set up very well out of the box. I love playing it and every body that has tried it has enjoyed playing it and several who never heard of Breedlove are serious considering getting there own.

This guitars action is great out of the box, the neck is thin, sound projects wonderfully, and the electronics are high quality.
All the wood used are beautiful. I can't say enough about this guitar my favorite to date. The included case is amazing!

This guitar stands with Martins and Taylors. It is finely crafted; beautiful solid wood; fine neck; deep Taylor dreadnought sound; reasonable price.

Comments about Breedlove 2015 Sitka Spruce Top Stage Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

This is the best guitar I have owned and played. I owned two guitars, a Breedlove C250 and a Luna Mustang, before I got this own. The Breedlove was amazing and the Luna was good so I told myself no more additions to the family for a year.. but one day I was in Guitar Center getting strings and I saw this Breedlove hanging on the wall, I just had to go play it. I told myself I wasn't buying it but I was just going to play it. Well anyway I picked it up and fell in love. It played wonderfully and had the most beautiful sound. I just loved the inlay too. Well I went home and thought about it all day and night so the next morning I got up and drove over to Guitar Center and bought it! One of my best decisions yet and this has been the best guitar. I play it when I perform and record. I use it when I am having a jam session. Everyone loves it (it kills me to allow others to play my baby) It couldn't be a better guitar.

Comments about Breedlove 2015 Sitka Spruce Top Stage Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I was a life-long Takamine player and have several mid-level Tak's in my collection. I finally ordered a pro-level Takamine that was way more than I've ever spent on a guitar before. After I received it, I noticed a huge buzz when playing the guitar and sent it back to MF. It was set up fine but had an annoying buzz that I couldn't get rid of. Instead of buying another Takamine, I decided to look into a Breedlove. I had heard super great things about them and decided to spend a fraction of what I spent on the Takamine and buy this Stage Dreadnought from Breedlove. My plans were to keep using my Takamines as my primary guitars and use this one as a backup, etc. I received the guitar quickly from MF and it was set up perfectly right out of the box. The guitar sounds absolutely amazing. It stays in tune and is an absolute blast to play. I filled out the warranty information online and registered it. A day after that I got a call from somebody at Breedlove to see how I liked the guitar. I've never had a manufacturer call me and ask me for my opinion before. It was really amazing to see that level of customer service. I told the lady, that my plan was to use my Takamines as primaries and this Breedlove as a secondary guitar. But after playing it, it's the Takamines that have become the secondary guitars. In fact, this Breedlove is my new go to guitar for every gig these days. I sorta cringe when I see my Takamines sitting in the case stand and realize that I've not played them in a month or two. I'll pull one of them out and it's a night and day difference between them and the Breedlove. I'm no longer a life-long Takamine player and will continue to purchase Breedlove guitars and acoustic basses for many years.
