A beautiful guitar....I now wish I had spent an extra c note for the plus model. I've had it about a month and still can't put it down. The action is a hair high for my taste also but I will fix that when I change strings. I think the sound unplugged blows away anything in the same price range. I have heard the sound described as a cross between a Martin and a Taylor and I would agree. If you're looking at a Taylor 314, look at this first. A lot cheaper in price but not in sound. And the case is top notch. Everyone I have let pick up this guitar has loved it. Martin and Taylor players included.
This guitar is beautiful! It has a beautiful tone as well. I had a Martin DM and this baby beats it in sound and quality hands down. The action is fast and perfectly set-up, the D'Addario strings are sweet. You can't get a better deal than this guitar. The electronics (Fishman 4 Classic) are excellent. I can't say enough about how much I love this guitar.
This guitar is a great buy. I've owned it for about a year now and I am more than happy with it. It came with the action set a bit high but after it's first set up the guitar was definately faster and the hand-rubbed neck is absolutely a plus. It feels great on the hands. After playing a couple Taylors that I was interested in, I picked this one up and fell in love with it's tone. Then I found out how inexpensive it was and I was convinced to buy it for it's value. The rosewood (laminate) sides and the rosewood (solid) back sound real warm and the sitka spruce top really helps the tone cut through on the higher end especially with the concert style body. And for you performers out there, this guitar sounds GREAT plugged in. The Fishman electronics represent it's stellar tone beautifully. Great buy!
I got the ac25/sr in the mail today and was nervous opening it after reading some reviews talking about damaged products. The guitar was in perfect condition. The sound...amazing...I can't put it down. The action is by default a little high, but I haven't stopped playing it long enough to set it. Before today I have never played a Breedlove, and I'll have to say it's awesome.
I have owned mine for a couple years now and I am very happy with it. I've played some high-end Breedlove's and the AC25/SR plays just like'm! I am the a Worship leader and it sounds great pluged-in live or recorded. Also, sounds nice around the campfire! Buy it!
