Almost Like Stealing...

For a guitar of this caliber the price was already low.  Got it on sale, no tax in my state, free shipping, plus it came with a high quality case...this is almost like stealing!  Arrived at my door exactly 24 hrs after ordering.  Not too shabby for free shipping.

I would hesitate to buy a guitar sight unseen, if any other companies were involved.  But with Breedlove and Musician's Friend, you can be sure that it will go well.  This is the 2nd Breedlove I've bought this way, the other is a Solo (the one with the deeper body and monitor soundhole).

This guitar had perfect setup right out of the box, no need to mess with lowering the saddle or anything else.  Beautifully balanced, good tone, very easy to play, lots of volume.  Within minutes it felt as though I'd been playing this guitar all my life.  I have 6 guitars, and all of them have their virtues, but this is my all-around favorite.  It doesn't have the incredibly beautiful tone of the Solo, but then it's spruce and maple as opposed to cedar and rosewood, and the body is shallower, but that makes it more comfortable to play.  On stage I would prefer to have a monitor soundhole, but can live without it.  Certain tunings I would hesitate to use on this guitar, but I mostly keep it in standard tuning.  For those tunings with higher tension I use an Alvarez which is built like a tank.

Overall, this is a very good guitar at an amazingly low price.  Breedlove is making good guitars available to people like me.  I only wish I could afford one of the higher-end cedar / rosewood models.  To see an exceptional guitar played by an exceptional player, look up Stu Clark on Youtube playing You've Got A Friend.

Incredible Tone Attracts Compliments!

I've been playing guitar for over 20 years... Playing this Breedlove Atlas Series Studio C25/SM for the past 2.  Over the past year, I've been playing on stage with professional players.  It never fails, they ask me what kind of guitar am I playing.  After I tell them a Breedlove, they say the sound ROCKS!

A great guitar with great playability and great tone.  The cut-out design makes soloing easy all the way up to the 17th or 18th fret very easy.

The LR Baggs Stage Element Pro electronics shine when plugged into a PA for stage use.  On-board EQ, phase, notch filter, and tuner make it easy to get set up for your next sound-check.  Getting some feedback?  Hit the phase button and it will usually disappear.

Your sound man will really appreciate your flexibility from the stage (just don't make changes without them knowing or you could really pi@@ them off!!)..

Anyway, great value, playablity, electronics, tunability, and, of course, sound!!

Highly recommend this guitar!

Overall this is a great guitar.  The craftsmanship is excellent and the neck and fretboard are very even and consistent (no buzzing).  This guitar is a little heavy on the base but sounds great amplified if you eq the bass down.  I am supprised at the amount of volume you get acoustically from this studio body style.  Overall, I am very satisfied w/ this guitar and would highly recommend it.

I bought a factory second version of this guitar and I'm so glad I did. The blemish was miniscule and the guitar looks and sounds fantastic. The solid top is very resonant and the deep body makes it a very loud acoustic. The electronics are top notch, and accurately portrays the acoustic sound. Overall, this is an amazing guitar for the price, and it sounds just as good as it looks.
