OVERVIEW

Another topnotch offering from the master craftsman in Bend, Oregon.

Breedlove's Legacy Parlor Acoustic-Electric Guitar was built for the singer-songwriter looking for a warm, present midrange that projects valiantly from a smaller, more comfortable silhouette. Walnut and Sitka spruce lend clear harmonics and a strong fundamental for impressively focused tone, with all the renowned Breedlove balance and clarity. Other appointments include ivoroid binding, Gotoh 381 tuners, an African ebony Delta bridge, Legacy Wave fretboard inlays, and the high-quality L.R. Baggs Anthem TRU-Mic mic/pickup system.

Comments about Breedlove Legacy Parlor Acoustic Electric Guitar:

The sitka and walnut take awhile to open up and start to deliver deeper bass and richer overtones but it is constantly getting better and more complex. The electronics are very true to acoustic perfomance and the craftsmanship is very good--almost flawless. The neck is very slender profile-wise enthough it has a 1-3/4 neck width it is smaller than a Martin Modified Low Profile. I dislike this feature alone-- I wish it was fatter but most will not mind I suspect. Other than that it is as good as one can do for 2-3 thousand. My first breedlove. I own Martin, Taylors, and Gibson acoustics in this range-- this is as good or better than some. If you like concert bodies and parlors, this one will be a keeper for you. Give it about 90 days for the wood to open up and you will be very happy. Professional sound all the way.
