Comments about Breedlove Master Class Phoenix Acoustic Guitar:
My teacher brought one of these out tonight and asked if I wanted to play it. It looked like a guitar, a nice one, but I have prettier guitars.
Then I held it in my hand.
It was like Caliburn.
I once heard a story of a guitarist that visited a factory and they handed him a prototype guitar.
He messed around with it for a few minutes and the factory manager asked for it back.
The guitarist offered to fight him for it. He said that they would need the cops and tazers to take it away from him
I thought the guitarist was nuts. Until tonight. If i didn't have such great respect for my teacher, I would have fought her for it., it would have been worth it.
It's a six string acoustic with no pickups. There's not much to say about Features.
This thing is solid as a rock and holds tuning like it just can't be out of tune. The neck is so comfortable it's like it's not there. The fit and finish are amazing.
How do you rate the value of an insturment like this?
On the one hand, you can buy several really nice guitars for the price of one of these.
On the other hand, I will trade you every one of my guitars and a couple pints of blood for one of these.
It is rare that I have ever touched anything that would be beyond value, this guitar would be worth buying at twice the price.
