Breedlove

A striking dreadnought with bright, crisp tones thanks to a special combination of Pacific Northwest tonewoods.

Familiar yet unique, the D/SMYe Oregon Series Dreadnought offers a musicality that is both felt and heard. Like all Breedlove Oregon Series guitars, it's 100% handcrafted in Bend, Oregon using all solid tonewoods sourced in the Pacific Northwest. The Dreadnought body shape is the most requested and best-selling guitar shape of all time. So to expand on it’s popularity Breedlove's decided to use Oregon indigenous Myrtle wood for the back and sides and Sitka spruce for the top. This combination produces a powerful, clear tone that makes it ideal in a live setting with its impressive balance, volume, and clarity (especially in the midrange). Other appointments include black binding, herringbone top purfling, rosette, and ebony fretboard and bridge. It also comes with the exclusive Fishman Ultra-tone electronics package for when you really want to jam out solo or need some amplification for performing in front of thousands. Includes case.

Comments about Breedlove Oregon Series D/SMYe Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

Musicians friend totally lived up to their promise to satisfy their customers and gtee their products, and then some. I ordered this wonderful guitar to play out live. I had it five days before I was able to do that, and fell in love. Then, I played it at a gig - just awful. No matter what I did, I couldn't bring up the bass levels and the low e was virtually silent. I even considered swapping out the electronics, but Musicians friend was kind enough to take it back and offer alternatives. And when I couldn't find something I was happy with, they simply paid the shipping back to them and refunded my money. PS - I left my 30 year old strap in the Breedlove case when I returned it to Musicians friend, and they sent it back to me - they paid the postage. Great people.
