Excellent big sound in an affordable package

Features:

I bought this guitar at a local guitar store. I played most of the Breedloves that were in store and they all honestly sounded dull. So I kept trying out different guitars, but somehow I picked this one up. I was amazed at how big the sound was on the first strum. The sound was very balanced on the highs, mids, and lows. Perfect guitar for recording in my opinion.

Quality:

Overall the craftsmanship is very good. There are no sloppy frets or anything out of place. I did experience one problem with one of the tuners gears slipping.   I contacted Breedlove, and they decided to send me a set of 6 GROVER tuners for free to replace myself. Breedlove's customer service is phenominal.

Value:

I think at the pricepoint this is a good value. But keep in mind that there are many other great guitars in this pricepoint too. Mainly the tone and sound and sustain are what sold this guitar for me.

Overall:

I was very pleased with this purchase.  I thought this guitar played better then the Breedlove Atlas series guitars that I played on the same day. But your mileage may vary.

If you need a solid guitar that is very versatile, you need to at least check this out before you pull the trigger on an acoustic-electric.      I am very pleased.

Finally got my new C250/CMe and put it through a good test drive.      First off, this guitar is solidly built.      The fretboard makes for easy fretting, fingerpicking, and runs.      The sound is very full and as someone else said, earthy.      I have played several Gibsons, Martins, and a couple of Taylors, all great guitars.      I just can't imagine any other guitar at this price point that plays and sounds this good.      I am 100% sure I made the best choice and look forward to a long LOVE affair with this BREED of a guitar!

Very solidly built.      Weight is sound but just right.      Onboard lit tuner is great.      I haven't payed it amplified yet but I doubt I'll be disappointed.

As said before, best I've played at this and even above this price.

Sure, perhaps not the best AC/with pup on the planet but probably the best in the price range. I have not purchased a new AC guitar in decades and it was time, I wanted and needed a nice player with on board electronics and I didn't want to pay premium price for it as it  will eventually be a working guitar. I played every guitar plus or minus a couple hundred and this one stood out.  Quite frankly even the next 2 models of Breedlove didn't play any better than this one, they had different wood and appearance. It's kinda plain to look at but it plays great and sounds great, I recorded a quick demo track with both the on board pup and with a condenser and it was apparent I made the right choice. Excellent action and build quality., nice bright sound. If this one got run over I would buy another the same day. !! Enjoy !

Breedlove A MUST!!!

I've had this guitar for over 6 months and I LOVE IT!! 1) On Board tuner will blow you away it is a digital chromatic tuner, you can literally tune in pitch black and see the things backlight. 2) Low action for great hammer ons and pull offs. 3) Tone hands down beats the majority of the entry level and middle level Taylors and Martins. 4) Sounds Excellent plugged in and it's a great recording guitar. Only advice since your paying $500 is getting a heavy duty case cause the plush one will NOT cut it so protect your investment. Also buying a humidifier is also a MUST!!! Honestly I would pick this guitar over and over again if given the opportunity!!!
