Great Player's Guitar

Features:

Exactly right balance between size and sound for this 'travel' A/E Guitar.  Perfect for my 12 year old son to get his arms around.  He loves the built in Tuner.  Wish the PreAmp had more features.

Quality:

I pulled this out of the box after UPS Shipping and the clean clear tones just rung out brightly.  Great sounding guitar, no excuses.  Get the matte finish, makes a big difference.

Value:

Purchased level 1 used through MF and with a discount coupon came out with a smoking deal.  Nice quality gig bag with durable outer finish and Breedlove Logo.

Overall:

We looked at a ton of the smaller guitars but came back to Breedlove for looks, great sound and value.

I like strumming fast and getting a good "snap" to the sound. This guitar has great tone with a emphasis to the mid-high range which is very clean. Especially with the right strings and properly set up, this thing plays like glass. I like the unique look to the wood, and the tuner, pickups, and overall construction are all very good. You will use it and gig with it more because it didn't cost a fortune but can serve almost all steel-string acoustic duties that a guitarist is likely to have.

Great fingerstyle guitar for the $$$

Overall:
I play fingerstyle guitar, lots of tunings, my standard tuning guitar developed neck issues and I needed something good, cheap and fast. (I usually only get two of the three.) I spare you the rundown of features as they are listed right here.  Korean built and quality-assured in the Bend, Oregon shop. Pretty much flawless for a guitar in this price range. I will say the most surprising feature is the Breedove-branded pickup system. Referred to as the VTC, mine had an under saddle piezo of the six crystal variety with side-mounted volume, bass, and treble controls and an on/off switch for the tuner which mustes the output when on so that you can tune in silence. The tuner is an LCD, needle style display that is brightly backlit and quite unique, not to mention that the pickup sounds great. My other main guitar is a Takamine T430SS with cool tube preamp and this holds its own against that. This is great! Great Breedlove quality for a very good price!
