This guitar Jams!

Comments about Breedlove Passport C250/COe Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I like strumming fast and getting a good "snap" to the sound. This guitar has great tone with a emphasis to the mid-high range which is very clean. Especially with the right strings and properly set up, this thing plays like glass. I like the unique look to the wood, and the tuner, pickups, and overall construction are all very good. You will use it and gig with it more because it didn't cost a fortune but can serve almost all steel-string acoustic duties that a guitarist is likely to have.

Great fingerstyle guitar for the $$$

By Breedlove lover

from Cincinnati, OH

Comments about Breedlove Passport C250/COe Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I play fingerstyle guitar, lots of tunings, my standard tuning guitar developed neck issues and I needed something good, cheap and fast. (I usually only get two of the three.) I spare you the rundown of features as they are listed right here. Korean built and quality-assured in the Bend, Oregon shop. Pretty much flawless for a guitar in this price range. I will say the most surprising feature is the Breedove-branded pickup system. Referred to as the VTC, mine had an under saddle piezo of the six crystal variety with side-mounted volume, bass, and treble controls and an on/off switch for the tuner which mustes the output when on so that you can tune in silence. The tuner is an LCD, needle style display that is brightly backlit and quite unique, not to mention that the pickup sounds great. My other main guitar is a Takamine T430SS with cool tube preamp and this holds its own against that. This is great! Great Breedlove quality for a very good price!

Comments about Breedlove Passport C250/COe Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

We looked at a ton of the smaller guitars but came back to Breedlove for looks, great sound and value.
Exactly right balance between size and sound for this 'travel' A/E Guitar. Perfect for my 12 year old son to get his arms around. He loves the built in Tuner. Wish the PreAmp had more features.
I pulled this out of the box after UPS Shipping and the clean clear tones just rung out brightly. Great sounding guitar, no excuses. Get the matte finish, makes a big difference.
Purchased level 1 used through MF and with a discount coupon came out with a smoking deal. Nice quality gig bag with durable outer finish and Breedlove Logo.

THE BREEDLOVE IS A WONDERFUL ACOUSTIC ELECTRIC IT HAS A GREAT SOUND AND STAYS IN TUNE. THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE IS I WISH IT WAS EASIER TO HOLD FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME, BUT MAYBE I SHOULD STOP PLAYING AFTER 4 HOURS?

      Phenomenal

      By Rusty

      from Maine

Comments about Breedlove Passport C250/COe Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I'm a finger picker and this guitar lends itself perfectly to my finger style and the ergonomics are perfect. I don't know how they did it but Breedlove managed to get every note balanced with no "over twang" on the high strings and no boominess in the mids and lows. I have a bunch of acoustic guitars but this one in my go to player. It's just fabulous.

Comments about Breedlove Passport C250/COe Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I bought this as a fingerstyle couch guitar, if there is such a thing, and it does the job admirably. These low end breedloves are impeccably built, better than anything else in the price range, and the built in tuner is a nice feature. I should have bought five of these guitars for the price I paid.

Musicians Friend processed the sale and I received my guitar promptly. Make sure they have a complete zip code for shipping. The guitar was packed well. I am blown away at the quality, sound and appearance of this Breedlove guitar. I could not be more pleased. If this is what is to be expected from M/F, I will buy from them again.
Fantastic price. Beautiful guitar. Nice folks.

Comments about Breedlove Passport C250/COe Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

Love the smaller size of this guitar, find it easier to play than my dreadnaught. Came set up nicely right out of the box. Haven't plugged it in yet, but it projects very well unplugged, especially mid and high range. It's a beautiful guitar in appearance as well…build quality and finish are excellent. The gig bag that comes with is pretty thin (it has a nice embroidered logo on it though)…I picked up a hard case as I don't feel the gig bag offers much protection. So far I am very happy with this Breedlove. It's a keeper!

What a great, easy to fret and play guitar! Factory set up is fantastic right out of the box. I was a little nervous buying an acoustic via mail but the guitar was boxed up great with no damage. Solid cedar top sounds warm and even(no heavy bass or highs). The intonation is spot on.I have a 20 year old Gibson Gospel acoustic and this Breedlove is so much easier to play and sounds great!

Comments about Breedlove Passport C250/COe Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

This guitar is an excellent value. It compares extremely well with top brands at higher prices. That said, I have two expensive Breedloves, and they are truly elite-level guitars. What I like about this guitar is that I can take it to gigs where I might not want to put my expensive guitars at risk, and it still delivers top-rate performance. Breedlove is really doing things right!
