Breedlove

A beautiful Breedlove guitar that is highly versatile, comfortable, and efficiently designed.

The Passport PLUS C250/SB acoustic-electric guitar is inspired by the Breedlove Custom Shop C25 shape and voice. The C25 shape is highly versatile, comfortable and efficient – Breedlove's top-selling shape for over 20 years. The PLUS C250/SB model features the amazing tone of the bridge truss bracing system for sustain and complexity in each note. A solid Sitka Spruce top and exotic bubinga back and sides generate a warm tone with good projection and make this acoustic-electric guitar an excellent value.

The Breedlove Passport PLUS C250/SB has both advanced electronics and lighter weight bracing in the top and back for increased resonance. The Passport Active VTC pickup lets you be heard in any venue and a built-in chromatic tuner with back-lit screen makes it easy to stay in tune. A 9-Volt battery is easily accessed near the endpin area. Includes gig bag.

Breedlove Passport guitars are designed for ultimate portability without tonal sacrifice. These comfortable, easy to play acoustic guitars are the perfect choice for the musician on the move.

I was loking at Taylors and played the Breedlove. I tell you, I fell in love with it and I still completly enjoy playing it now. I have four other guitars and always grab the Breedlove. I realize it isn't made in the states; but the quality is there.

Quality:

Can't beat it for the money.

I bought this guitar from MF 6 months ago and although I loved it right out of the box I like it more each time I play it.  I agree with the other reviewer regarding the gig bag that ships with it and had the exact same concerns with the size and the zipper.  That bag is in the bottom of a closet somewhere.  I bought a hardshell case for this beauty.  Breedlove should just ship them wrapped in a t-shirt.  It would be more useful. I can't say enough about the guitar itself though.  I also have a Martin Custom X series with Spruce top, HPL sides and back and Fishman 4 PU.  The guitars are similar in price.  I love the Martin.  It's very easy to play.  The Breedlove sounds much better acoustically but is not quite as easy to play, if that makes sense.  Amplified there is no comparison at all.  The Breedlove will make you forget where you are.

I really enjoy my new Breedlove. Quality is top of the line, sound is top of the line. My only problem was the soft shell case that came with mine was flimsy and didn't unzip far enough to allow the guitar to be removed safely(without scratching on the zipper). I called Breelove and talked to Mark. I explained my concerns. He was nice and told me to call the distributor and ask for a better case and that if they wouldn't help he would have something he could send me. I felt confident when I hung up that I was going to get a slightly better case either way.Distributor told me to call the maker. When I called Mark back I really felt like he was going to take care of this.He just left me hanging and said I could buy one for $109.00 I lost a bit of faith in their customer service. He did say he had something laying around he could send me.Makes me think twice about spending the money on their Master series

Went into the store thinking I was going to come out with a Taylor or Martin. One of the big name guitars. I saw this on the wall and thought "What the heck is breedlove?" By the time I saw it, I had been trying out acoustics for about 2 hours. First chord I played on this guitar, I already made my decision. It's crisp, yet the lows come out perfectly.
