Comments about Breedlove Pro Series D25/SR Herringbone Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I bought this baby out of a room of about 30 different Taylors, Martains, and other Breedloves. The tone and amplification you get out of this guitar is simply AMAZING!The guitar also looks 2x better than in the pictures. Best guitar I'v ever played hands down and well worth the price.

A breed on to its self

Comments about Breedlove Pro Series D25/SR Herringbone Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

This is my third acoustic guitar. The first one was a low end Washburn and last one I bought was a Martin D-15. I was happy with the Martin; that was until I picked up this Breedlove. My Martin was not electrified and I needed an acoustic/electric in order to play in a band. When I went looking I tried the Martins, Taylors etc. but was blown away by this Breedlove. No question about it. The tone and playability electrified or not is amazing. I have had this guitar for almost a year now and very rarely play the Martin and when I do (play it), I really notice how much better the Breedlove sounds. The sustain on the Breedlove is far superior to the ones I tried.

    Steal of a deal

Comments about Breedlove Pro Series D25/SR Herringbone Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I purchased this guitar about 2 months ago. I wasn't planning on buying another guitar, but was blown away by the playability and tone of this guitar. I have a Gibson hummingbird, and a Takamine Santa Fe, both very nice guitars, but this one blows them both away in sound. I have a hard time putting this one down. The action is great, and I had to loosen the truss rod a bit as I went from a fairly humid climate where the guitar was purchased, to a dry climate where I live, but this is to be expected, and I have had no other problems. I am constantly getting questions from people who are amazed at how good it sounds plugged in when I'm playing live. This guitar is perfect for gigging and for the home studio, so much so that a couple of my other guitars are for sale. In fact, I am also considering saving up for a Breedlove custom shop guitar, since the D25 Pro is so amazing, I can just imagine how good their really high end guitars must be. Highly recommended, you will be hard pressed to find anything close to it in tone and playability anywhere near it's price point.

    Will have NO OTHER

Comments about Breedlove Pro Series D25/SR Herringbone Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I just purchased this (D25/SR Herringbone) about a month ago. I had played Taylor, Martin and a slew of other guitars but when I picked this one up I knew it was the one so I went the extra bucks and bought this one. While all the other guitars are good and some may prefer them over a Breedlove I will go back to them time and again. It is truly a phenomenal piece of both beauty and sound. The tone is superb with all the highs and lows and every thing in between.

    Best for your money period!!

Comments about Breedlove Pro Series D25/SR Herringbone Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

This guitar is one of the best I have found for the money!! It has the same features as guitars that cost twice as much and it has the tone of guitars that cost three times as much. I compared this to numerous other american made guitars ranging from $1000-5000 and this one was the best!!!! I highly recommend to any one who wants great value in a versital total package guitar!!! The only problem with this guitar I have found is they don't offer the same model with other wood combinations like mahogany or maple backs.

Made Up My Mind - Just Saving My Money

    By Keith-bsbkH

Comments about Breedlove Pro Series D25/SR Herringbone Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

The Breedlove Pro D25 / SR has a unique string through the bridge design is used. This means no more pegs to fool with when changing strings. The L.L. Baggs electronics volume and tone controls are not mounted through the body but rather inside the sound hole. This means better resonance because the wood hasn't been deadened with cuttin a hole for a control box. The bracing in this guitar is very good too. The quality workmanship and playing ease is the best I've ever seen. It sounds better than any other upscale acoustic/ electric guitar I have played. The lows and high ends are all clearly there when played with or without an amp. I am getting ready to buy one for myself. I was considering a Taylor or Martin but my decision is made on the Pro D25 / SR. I'm just saving my cash to buy it. I haven't been this excited about buying a guitar in a long time!
