I actually got it as a Christmas Present from my Boss, and let me tell you its a monster! The pickups are punchy and hot! The Highs are crisp, and the lows are deep. However, when the coil taps are set in, it becomes as mellow and smooth as any Strat. The frets are perfect for techniques such as: Sweeping, String Skipping arpeggios, as well as any shred run. The Neck feel is right between an EVH Wolfgang and a sleek Gibson Les Paul, (i.e. fast as hell with something to hold on to.) This Truely is a working man's axe.
I have the I1F in trans purple. It is a beautiful sounding and feeling guitar. Excellent wood and craftsmanship second to none. My G----- class 5 has more flaws than the BM, and for the price, it shouldn't have any. The guitar stays in tune nicely, a vast array of tones are at you call. You can play any style of music with those JB's and phase switching. It's a super guitar that I will never part with.
This guitar plays like it cost 3 times as much. Its finish and looks are great. Those Duncan pup's really make it sing. I can't find a thing wrong with it. Superb.
