This is an incredible guitar for the price. I played it side by side with a Yamaha and an Alhambra that cost at least $300 more, and the Cordoba won hands down. This was my first quality nylon-string guitar I've ever owned, and it's made me a convert. Since picking this up, I now play nylon stringed guitars almost exclusively (I have a Godin Multiac w/ a 13-pin output for electric and midi guitar stuff). It's a great instrument for beginning to intermediate flamenco/gypsy rumba players, and also records great on demos, too. Overall, a great instrument for those looking to experiment with a nylon stringed instrument.
This guitar is a great flamenco guitar. I have another flamenco guitar I bought in Spain for $3000.00 and this one actually sounds "more" flamenco than the artisan crafted model. I would highly recommend this guitar. You will be happy with it! Includes a nice cordoba hardshell case similar to an SKB case. Very good deal.
Bought one two years ago and sold it about six months ago. I can't find another to replace it so I just ordered another one.
I've owned this guitar for over a year and though I don't play classical music, I bought it for certain songs used in our church. I played dozens of classicals before choosing this one and would never want to replace it. Very light. Beautiful sound. Plays great! As good a guitar for the price as you can buy. I highly recommend it!!
Wow, this is just a great guitar. It's a beautiful guitar to look at, first of all. I've played it on stage, and with a microphone, it sounds absolutely great. I tried out about 10 guitars, and I picked this one. It has a beautiful sound for classical players. There is absolutely no fret buzz, and it's just very melodic and soothing. It's easy to pick the nylon strings, as well (for finger pickers). The strings are nice and sturdy, as well. These suckers do not break off, and it never seems to go out of tune. This is the best classical guitar there is.
I bought this guitar about two years ago, and though I don't play classical music, we use a classical guitar in our church worship band for certain songs. This guitar sounds great, plays great, looks great, and is very affordable. I have several guitars, both acoustic and electric, and would definitely replace this one if it ever was lost, stolen or damaged.
Fantastic guitar. Plays like a much higher guitar. sound is tops, as well as craftmanship. a beautiful handmade spanish guitar.
Excellent sound and quality, great playability and response. Beautiful to look at. I've had mine for about 5 years now and I love it more everyday.
I recently got this guitar for my birthday. I had always been interested in playing flamenco music, but I had just started playing. I love the sound and the rich tone of this guitar. If anything ever happened to this guitar I would immediately replace it. I love this guitar and I recommend it to anybody interested in a good quality classical flamenco guitar.
