The ultimate crossover nylon-string, handcrafted in Spain.

A slightly narrower neck width, thinner body, deep cutaway, and onboard electronics with 4-band EQ and tuner make this Cordoba 55RCE the perfect guitar for fiery performances. A solid European spruce top generates bold low-mids and mids with cutting high-end enhanced by Indian rosewood back and sides. Ebony fingerboard and ebony-reinforced Spanish cedar neck with multi-ply headstock veneer looks great and feels silky smooth. Gold-plated tuners add a touch of elegance.

Comments about Cordoba 55RCE Classical Acoustic/Electric Guitar:

Brand new and fresh from the factory the neck and fingerboard were so badly bowed backwards that the guitar was worthless. I would guess that it would not have been cost effective to replace it, but I'm not a luthier and perhaps Cordoba has a facility here in the States to repair such abominations. If you order a Taylor, or a Wechter, and probably others (I'll bet Schecter), you can expect a perfect instrument straight out of the box. What kind of grossly inept quality control must they have had to allow something so dramatically wrong to be shipped out?Cordoba: Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, ...Needless to say, I'll never purchase a Cordoba again!
