Great guitar
I've purchased three guitars and a keyboard from Musicians Friend. Each time I've been very pleased with the product. Customer service has been superb as well.

The C3M is an excellent classical (I own three) has great tone. What attracted me were some unique features, truss rod, slightly radiused fretboard, matt finish, solid cedar top.

Very playable with great tone.

I could not be happier with this guitar. It plays smoothly and sounds full and rich. It looks great as well. Cordoba knows how to build guitars.

I have played many nylon guitars. I have owned much more expensive guitars. I wanted a great sounding guitar that sounded great. I am pretty discriminating. The cedar top and the mahogany back and sides were the best!

      Happy with my purchase.

Comments about Cordoba C3M Acoustic Nylon String Classical Guitar:

I was looking for an affordable Classical guitar I could use to practice with on the couch after the kids to go bed. I needed something quieter than my steel string . I also wanted a "knock-around" guitar I could take camping and out for cookouts etc.

I was torn between the C3M and Yamaha's offerings in this price range. In the end I found a returned C3M at a discount and decided to pull the trigger on the Cordoba.

All in all I'm very happy with it. I see no issues with the build, the action was very nice (about 3.5 mm at the 12th fret) and everything was shipped how I'd expect. I ended up putting on some medium tension strings and actually prefer the sound with these.

My only complaint would be that the tuning machines are obviously not high-end and I find that each string is a little flat by the next day. This seems to be the case even after the strings have been on a few weeks. Once tuned up it stays in tune while playing though.

For the money it's a reasonable nice sounding guitar that easy to play. I also purchased the Gator GBE-Classic gig bag and it fits very well.

You wont find a better guitar

      By Jake

Comments about Cordoba C3M Acoustic Nylon String Classical Guitar:

You will not find a better guitar anywhere near this price range in my opinion. It plays so well. The construction is flawless. The strings are nice. Out of the box set up is literally perfect. You get it. Take it out of the box. Tune it. Play it. Do not hesitate to buy this Cordoba. Sounds fantastic. Resonates like a dream. Neck plays fast for a 2.05 nut. Just go ahead and get it.

      I couldn't have made a better choice

      By Ed

      from Wilmington, NC

Comments about Cordoba C3M Acoustic Nylon String Classical Guitar:

This is a great economical classical with conventional dimensions. It's light weight with a mat finish making the most of its resonance and tone potential. The solid cedar top and thin laminated mahogany back and sides make it very responsive. When I decided to take another swing at classical play, I looked at reasonable priced, under a grand, classicals but found none I really liked so I decided to get something inexpensive with true classical guitar dimensions and this one won out over the Yamahas I played, although some of those are very nice too. If you want to work on your classical play, this is a great little guitar.

        • Excellent solid top entry level classical guitar

Comments about Cordoba C3M Acoustic Nylon String Classical Guitar:

I was looking for an affordable entry-level classical guitar but I wanted one that was quality made and I knew I wanted an instrument with a solid top. I looked at other manufacturer's models and in my opinion they did not come close to offering as much as Cordoba does with this C3M model. With the C3M you get a solid cedar top, mahogany back and sides, rosewood fret board and bridge plus a bone nut and saddle. These are great features for the player and you really don't expect to see them on a guitar in this price range. The C3M has a terrific, warm tone. I find that the playability and intonation is excellent all the way up the neck. The guitar plays well right out of the box. My only criticism is that the pictures of this guitar on the Musician's Friend website don't really match what the guitar actually looks like. The guitar is much darker in appearance. However, this is not a deal breaker for me and shouldn't be for you either. It is still a beautiful looking and playing instrument with a very nice matte finish and nice appointments as I already mentioned. The folks at Cordoba have done a great job with this guitar. You'd be hard-pressed to find another guitar of this quality in this price range.

Comments about Cordoba C3M Acoustic Nylon String Classical Guitar:

It seems like a nice guitar, especially for the price. Granted, it's not my Martin HD28, but I didn't pay a Martin price, either.

I'm a steel string player and just had an itch for a classical. After a bit of research I picked this one as it was advertised as a mint condition return. It does indeed appear to be in mint condition.

The action is a little high, but it has a truss rod and a truss key was included with the package. I'll wait a while to let it settle in to its environment and then adjust it a tiny bit.

It looks fine, sounds fine, and I am quite satisfied. I've never had an adverse issue with Musician's Friend.
