Complete garbage. Can't stay in tune for more than five minutes, literally. Tuners are junk, setup is borderline unplayable. Your kid will be excited to see a nice looking pink guitar, but the horrible sound and setup will discourage her from every playing with it. And it just may discourage her from ever playing. It's that bad. There are plenty of better starter accoustics out there at the same or similar prices. Don't waste your money on this junk.

I was thinking about getting one for my daughter. Decided not to. Apparently the neck has trouble staying attached by the looks of all the used ones available having "separation" anxiety.

Despite the overall positive feedback rating this guitar and package receives from others, my experience purchasing this was just the opposite. The action was way too high for a small beginner child, especially a six year old girl. The frets extrude past the sides of the fingerboard making a rough surface when sliding your hand up and down the neck. The heel of the neck was slightly separated from the body making tuning impossible because tightening the strings caused the neck to slightly bow as tension increased. The machine heads were loose. And out of six attempts calling the manufacturer over three day period for support I got their answering machine. Could never reach a human and only received one call back which I missed. I ended up reinforcing the heel, tightening the machine heads, lowering the action by reducing the nut and saddle height and installing good strings. It?s much better ?now? and sounds decent for what it is and cost. I own a Taylor Baby which is like night and day over the Daisy Rock. Since my purchase I also compared the Yamaha JR-1 which is a great alternative if you don?t want to pay the higher prices for a young childs guitar. It?s hard to find a pink guitar to please a little girl and is the only reason I kept the Daisy Rock. I?ll never by another Daisy Rock product again though, lesson learned.

I'm petite and was SO grateful to find these slightly smaller guitars. People are surprised to hear such a mellow and beautiful sound out of this guitar. A joy to carry around and play because it's light weight. Perfect for smaller hands, easy to play and produces a clean, strong sound.

My girlfriend got this guitar, and I was skeptical because she got it for its color. But when I played it, I was rather impressed. It stays in tune well, and the action is pretty good, too. My only complaint is that when you bend the string, the neck makes a scratching noise. In other words, I think that the finish on the neck isn't too great.
