I started playing the guitar about 9 years ago. Of course, my starter guitar was an old Fender Squire and since then I've progressed through several American Strats and Teles. I've tried out the Gibson brands, but frankly I'm not a fan. I picked up the Daisy rocker for extra parts off this site during a huge sale, when it arrived it looked every bit as beautiful as the picture shows. Before scrapping it for parts, I decided to give it one strum running through the auxiliary inputs on my dads cd player. THANK GOD FOR THAT ONE STRUM! After hearing a beautiful rich tone, I decided to plug it into some real equipment: My Fender bullet amp W/ Danelectro grilled cheese. Unlike most guitars, no amount of force can be delivered on the strings that will overpower the pickups. I literally have sold my American Strat and Tele just to have some extra cash. The Daisy Rocker is all a true musician will ever need. note- I took it to a local guitar shop to set the intonation, there was a little buzz on the 11th fret of the E string. But since it's been fixed, this guitar continues to blow my mind and the faces of my audience. The Daisy Rocker is as revolutionary to the electric guitar business as the New Testament is to the Bible.

I bought this for my daughter. While the shape and color is great, I cannot recommend it for a learner. For one, as indicated in the other reviews, it CANNOT be played while sitting. Forget about sitting across from someone and showing what to do. The sound is OK, but limited from a single pickup and is not too noisy. Its fun to play, but doesn't stay in tune very well like my "real" guitars.

If your a big boy you shoudnt get this guitar...Even though it looks so hot tee-hee when I hold this guitar in my eight year old hands it makes me feel as if I am as big as Aronld Schwartzanager so if you are a big boy you should get this guitar. Because it's hot!

what a rocker..

By SoccerBunny13

from Spanaway, WA

I don't own it, my friend owns it but i play it all the time. Since i'm rather small, my hands are small (duh..) so this was an extremely great starter for me. My friend has been teaching me how to play on this, and i have to say i love it..i wish she'd give it to me..

My Heartbreaker

By Anonymous

from Undisclosed

I recently got picked this axe up at a store as a joke to show my friends in my band. But i plugged it in to one of the amps there and was incredibly surprised. I now use this guitar in all our gigs...it's worth the money. You may not look cool, but if you want the best sound, you need Daisy Rock.

Best Guitar!!

By DeathMetal123

from Selma, NE

This guitar is the best, I had a Gibson Les Paul Custom, and I just threw that away when I got this monster. The Axe is incredible, very clean sound I use it for my bands shows we play. We play Death Metal. I would recommend this to any metal head!!

OK, but not impressed

By 6Fingers

from Boerne, TX

My daughter (7) fell in love with this guitar so I got it for her. It looked like a decent guitar for a beginner, and the neck is about 3/4 normal length. It has 2 pretty good pickups, one is mellow and the other is edgy, and both produce a pleasing sound. The guitar has a slight but noticeable hum at higher volumes - it wasn't the cord or the amp. The heart-shaped body is unwieldly for even an adult - you can't reach further than the 15th fret, and it is awkward to play sitting down. This guitar should be played standing up all the time. Still, I would recommend this guitar for the little rocker girl in the family.

Not bad at all!

By La-la-la-LOLA!

I got this guitar about a year ago and I love it. The shorter scale makes it really easy to play. The only problem is, it tends to be a bit top heavy but it puts out a great sound and a full rich tone.

This guitar rocks!

By Dredfish

I picked this guitar up for my daughter, but quickly found myself playing it more than my guitars. The key word here is value. This little guitar sounds great for the price and it's fun to play. And, yes...my daughter likes it too.

Heartbreaker

By Cliffo

from Australia

I?ve been playing guitar since 1965. Rock, Blues & now Jazz. I think I own, or have owned just about every brand of guitar ever made. I still have a 1978 Fender Strat, Ibenez Artist & 12 other guitars. I came across a Daisy Rock Heartbreaker in a local hockshop, I had never seen one before. I got to tell ya, from the moment I pick it up I haven?t put it down. This guitar is great!
