Awesome, awesome guitar. There's the look of it. My Rock Candy Special steals the show wherever I take her, and is a part of my bling-bling look onstage because she is so eye-catching and photogenic. There's the sound of it. It also has a warm yet vibrant tone that does wonders for jazzy, bluesy music, which I love, but will growl with the best of the head-bangers when I want it to. I play her through my Fender 212DSP amp, and I get jaw-dropping complements by everyone who listens to the sound that this combination guitar/amp produces. And then there's the feel of it. I've been playing with a man's guitar for a long time, and never realized that a woman's guitar would feel so different. The Daisy Rock Candy Special has a body that is curved and shaped in the back to mold onto your body and not feel so awkward, and the neck is thinner, easier to hold and to accurately make those more difficult bar chords with smaller, shorter female fingers. There's also the ease of use and playability. She came in a cardboard box, ready to be played. The only modification was I took the D'addario 9 strings off and replaced them with D'addario 10s, but that's just a personal thing.Get it for the look, keep it for the sound, love it for the feel. You will not be disappointed.

The rock candy I've had for over a year feels great(and I have medium hands). The tone this axe puts out is better than a few of my more expensive guitars..Great value for the money!

    KICK A** Guitar!!!

    By Chris Ryan-NA5-B

    from Heart of Texas

First of all I have been playing for 15 yrs, been in a number of bands, and am comfortable playing any guitar, even if the "word" is that it is a girls guitar. So I picked this thing up started jamin' and I could not believe my ears. I like the smaller neck for faster action and the tap on the humms to get some xtra sonic out of it. It's the feather weight champion of guitars. Im basing this all on the goods for the price of course but this out does a number of guitars Iv'e had that cost 4 times as much. I did have to do some initial setup when I recieved it (neck ajustments and such) and presto let the fun begin. I use it on stage all the time! As a more serious playa im thinking about swaping the pickups, thats just me.

    Awesome!!!!

DIME SOLDIER 879 has no idea what he's talking about. He probably doesn't have a daughter. I'm completely satisfied with this instrument. I've been playing for five years and I love this guitar. I've owned from fenders to gibsons to paul reed smiths and this one is my favorite. I have very small hands so it is great for me.

    Great axe for the $

    By chemo

    from Galveston

This guitar has features like a tummy cut and coil tap that I wish other makers would use in this bodystyle. The neck is super thin and narrow, but not too narrow. I have three Daisy Rock guitars and the build quality and setup on all of the has been excellent.

This guitar is very high quality for the price. The one I played had a coil tap, and that adds so much to sound. Great buy!

    Pink Rock Candy Special HLF

    By Anonymous

    from Undisclosed

My parents got it for my Christmas present this year and I'm totally stoked! The set neck and mohogany body with quilted maple top give great sustain and a perfect blend of brightness. Much better than the bolt-on neck models. My Dad lowered the action and this guitar is great now! The frets are the same feel as a Gibson Les Paul but smaller for smaller hands. I love playing Family Force Five jams on it! I love the wood grain shining through the transparent pink paint. I also like the chrome pickup covers. Awesome guitar!

    Happy Daughter and Dad

    By Shack1

    from Akron, OH

I set out to find a second guitar that was a little more suited for a young girl. She wanted the "girl look" and I wanted a quality step up from her current guitar. This fit the bill perfect. The workmanship is fantastic and it will impress you the moment you take it out of the box. This IS NOT a toy - it is the real deal. -I had my doubts since the name sounds a little 'kidish'. I went to a local store and checked out DR guitar models and found that most of them were very well made. I feel this guitar is to be very Schecter like.
