The Dean Custom 350 Electric Guitar has a Floyd Rose tremolo gracing its double-cutaway body. Constructed with a carved flamed maple top and a lightweight basswood back, the guitar boasts a 25½" scale length bolt-on maple neck. The 6-in-line headstock is emblazoned with a winged Dean logo.
The guitar's 24-fret rosewood fingerboard is decorated with pearl dots and a custom inlay at the 12th fret. High-output DMT humbucking pickups deliver a variety of rockin' tones and a push/pull coil-splitting tone control lets you perform all musical genres by letting you also capture single-coil pickup sounds. A Floyd Rose Special tremolo bridge and a locking nut gives you additional expressive finesse without fear of going out of tune.

Dean has always made great guitars and this is no exception. It was ready to play out of the box and I could not be happier. It has sustain/gain to spare and if you kick it down to Single Coil Mode it transform into a very clean machine.The Floyd Rose works as advertised. I bought the Transparent Blue and it looks great; the combination of the Maple Top and the paint job looks very classy for this price point. For the price point I bought this at, this guitar has many options that would be in a guitar that would be triple that price.

I have no idea why this guitar has received 5 star reviews. Ever since I received mine it's had numerous problems. The neck fits horribly in the pocket causing intonation problems with strings that are unaligned with the edge of the neck. The frets are uneven and the action has to be set rather high to prevent buzz. The nut on the input jack has fallen off twice. When I went to fix it the second time the soldering came loose from the jack. I tried to pull the wires out to resolder them but there's no slack. Absolutely useless. Please do not waste your money.

I must say, I saw a lot of good reviews on this guitar but I had no idea how good it really was until I got it! And I'm not just saying that. I love this guitar. Stays in tune. I can use the floyd rose like a mad man and it always stays perfect! I love it! It has a great tone. And though some say it is just a metal guitar, I have made many of different sounds come out of this bad boy from blues to jazz, rockibilly up heavy metal! I would say BUY THIS GUITAR!! Wooooooooo!

Packaging: Arrived in the factory carton box.
Craftmanship: Impressive looks, good quality on knobs, 3-position switch, hum pickups and tremolo bar. One knob had a sticker which I took out which loosened the knob. Had to tighten it.
Weight: Considerably heavy (to my taste as I use a Strat).
Size: Larger than expected (tried to fit it in a standard hardcase but couldn't by 2").
Sound: Good overall sound but have not tested it enough.
Cost: The overall value received for the cost is impressive. I was expecting much less for the cost!

This guitar is my best guitar ever! its sounds so good! with the coil-spliting system you get a lot of diferent tones like warm tones to bright. The neck is really flat and it helps you shred on it. The Floyd Rose is awesome you can really divebomb and it wont get out of tune. the finish is really good i have the transparent black and its awesome! overall! its a great deal u can play any kind of music in this guitar so is the best for its price! so get yours NOW!

I'm a very experienced rock guitarist, but needed something with the coil-tap option for a blues project. This guitar more than exceeded my expectations for the price. Looks and plays great, and the single-coil sound is exactly what I was looking for. I have better sounding humbuckers in my other guitars, but this is satisfactory, and I really wanted this guitar for the single coil sound anyway.

over all i love it i use dime strings and they stay on for awhile it doesn't' break on a Floyd i would prefer this guitar to anyone that loves to play any music
i bought this thing at my local guitar store and they said it was a limited series. so i tested it out i was like this is awesome the neck was smooth, i can go on the 24th fret with no blockage on the body, the Floyd rose does really great sounds when u do a dive down. all i buy are dean guitars and this 1 is my favorite so far i never put it down i have too much fun with it.

I tried one of these out a shop in Portland, Tennessee, and this guitar suprised me. I played the natural finish one. The Floyd Rose on this guitar was suprisingly good, in comparison to guitars at this price range with a Floyd Rose. The tone and pickups were pretty good, and the neck had an assymetrical shape, which is a suprise. Now the only problems that I had were with the sustain. I do a lot of harmonic dive-bombs, and when I did my squeals and the Floyd, the notes didnt ring out like I wanted to. Also, I wasnt a huge fan of the bushings on the Floyd. The bar kept coming slightly loose and I like mine tight.

Great guitar for a great price. The neck is smooth and fast. Nice feel. The body is flawless. The floyd special stays in tune through my whammy abuse. Screams are great. The pickups are actually really responsive. The bridge pickup is crunchy and full sounding. The neck is smooth and bluesy. Added feature is coil tap. I don't really use it, but it does work and you can hear the difference. This guitar could easily compete with guitars in the $500 + range. Its very versitile, I can play rock and metal or just shredd away.Can't say enough good things about this guitar. The pickups will surprise you. They pack a punch. Try one out.thanks
