Comments about Dean Deceiver FMF Electric Guitar:

Tone is stellar(mine is combined with line 6 spider 3 amp with everything at 11 on insane setting, the tone sounds like a slightly more metal version of slash) Fast neckStays in tune very well even after extreme whammy useGreat for Hard Rock and MetalLow ActionLooks really good in bright lighting -mine came with really bad fret buzzing around the middle of the neck on the higher strings-very easy to pull high e off and get stuck under fretboard even with moderate vibrato

            it's worth it

Comments about Dean Deceiver FMF Electric Guitar:

I'm an LP guy. I wanted an LP w a Floyd, but I'm not spending what Gibson's asking. Tried a few epi's, warped necks, lame pups, not a real Floyd. The Dean has 24 frets, a very convenient cutaway, real emgs, nice finish. Shipped from a dealer, arrived in tune w a straight neck, correctly set up. The only shortcoming is the sustain is lacking, but what do you expect from a 24 3/4 scale w a trem? I was wary of the emg's. Everything I read was "metal, metal, metal." I play classic/modern rock and they sound fine.
